1st!

Go Habs Go!

HomaridII 11-16-2010 02:15 PM

The game was moved up to 7pm to accomodate Versus in the US. You'll have to change to thread title ..

roy munson 11-16-2010 02:16 PM

The posters on the Flyers' board seem to think we're just a formality on their road to a 78-4-0 record this season... well, except some who already use last night's game against Ottawa as an excuse. Show them!!

GO HABS GO!!!

Markovskaya 11-16-2010 02:23 PM

Can't wait to see the game live :D god some very nice tickets :yo:

go habs go !! It's going to be hard but we gon' beat 'em !!

SakuSauce 11-16-2010 02:24 PM

Go HABS Go!!! Habs 4-3

Canadian_Brewtality 11-16-2010 02:25 PM

this is gonna be a great game.

Alot of solid story lines going on in this one.

Gotta like that flyers team, they are solid and 4 lines deep. With solid goaltending they are definately the team to beat.

Monctonscout 11-16-2010 02:27 PM

One thing I don't like is sticking Subban and Picard together. Against a team as fast and skilled as Phillie you can't have your 2 weakest defensive d-men on the ice together. They have 3 scoring lines, so unless you only play them 7-10 min against the 4th line, they'll either get the Richards line or the Carter line or the Briere line.

PricePkPatch 11-16-2010 02:30 PM

This is probably gonna be the hardest game of the year yet. If the Habs really go at it, they will leave the ice tired as hell, but with a raised head.

I expect a shootout victory for the habs, 2-1 ;)

They're not just 'sticking them together'...they played together before Markov came back and actually looked quite sound back there.

ThaDevilGirl 11-16-2010 02:37 PM

I hope I didn't pay to go see a Flyers beatdown...

gusfring 11-16-2010 02:42 PM

Their forward depth is unreal...

Yeah we should definitely pair Picard with a vet like Spacek :sarcasm:

I'm only giving you a hard time, don't disagree with your post really. But what line up do you want then?

Markov-Subban
Hammer-Picard
Gill-Gorges

This is what I'd assume if anything then. No spacegoat ;)

I have a good feeling about this game to be honest, all the best :D

PyrettaBlaze 11-16-2010 02:45 PM

Win this for Flat Eric

Stjonnypopo 11-16-2010 02:50 PM

Get rid of this GDT we want MIG!!

I'm just kidding, it's a great GDT, has a lot of info and it looks really good.

I'm pretty excited for the game, hopefully the players give a little bit more to get some sort of retribution.

Eller will score his first goal tonight. Book it.

SakuSauce 11-16-2010 03:02 PM

Habs will win it. Book it. :handclap:

Who wants to deliver the bad news? lol

FF de Mars 11-16-2010 03:07 PM

My wild prediction : Cammy with a hat trick.

Habskrieg 11-16-2010 03:08 PM

I usually say we always win. always

But I think the loss of Markov will be tough on the team atm. I know we can and have won without him. But I think its going to show in moral tonight. :(

As a hardcore die hard fan... I'll say 4-3 OT for us.

HH 11-16-2010 03:09 PM

This team is 7-2-1 without Markov this season. This is not the team that had no heart and would crumble when a star gets injured. This team is good, this team has heart and this team will prevail. :)

If you mean by Price making 3-4 spectacular saves per game because of them...yeah they are solid and so is MAB

I know! We will eventually conquer all! But I'm just saying the team may feel a bit down tonight because of Markov injury... Kind of like the first night after a break up or something...

But I always post we win! ALWAYS!

Let me be the guy who deliver the bad news. markov suffered a knee injury last Saturday in the game against Carolina. Rumor is that he suffered a torn ACL in the same knee that he injured in the playoff. He could be gone for the season.:banghead:
