EIPL/EPL - Are they the same?
Are they the same or is one a second tier league?

Also, is there any way I can find out a base salary for this league or a max salary? I wonder if there are tryouts held for this league as well.

EIHL and EPL are two different leagues, first and second tier respectively. Have an idea on some salaries but there's nothing official, and if you want a tryout you'll have to contact the clubs directly.

I'm not in reality looking to go play over there. Just thinking maybe. What are some ballpark salries for both leagues?

For the Elite, anywhere from nothing for prospects and youngsters, expenses covered for non-superstar British players (hence why most of them have part- or full-time jobs), between 500-1000 per week for the best British players (small, high-demand marketplace = inflated asking prices). Imports can get anywhere from 250 per week at the smaller teams up to well into four figures, especially now the "wage cap" has been openly abandoned and the top five teams can spend whatever they want, whether they have it or not. It's brought in some great players (Craig Weller, Drew Bannister, Jon Gleed, Richard Seeley, Rob Globke, Ben Simon to name a few) but the long-term implications aren't good at all.

In the EPL, Guildford are able to splash the cash around and can match EIHL salaries and then some, but for the others I'd say only the imports on each team get paid a full wage. Most Brits either play for free or expenses and, due to the semi-professional nature of the league, have the time to hold down a steady job thus forcing wage demands down. As an example, Sheffield Steeldogs' weekly wage bill for the entire team is 800/week because they're all young Brits or local veterans with a couple of amateur imports, and they struggle with that.
