Quote:

The Stars have recalled defenseman Severin Blindenbacher from the Texas Stars of the AHL.

Defenseman Mark Fistric injured a groin in practice today and may not be able to play Wednesday when the Stars take on the Senators in Ottawa.

Blindenbacher has one goal, three assists and an even rating in eight games with Texas so far this season.

Too bad it wasn't Skrastins(not that he has been terrible)/Daley that got hurt, but I'm excited to see what Blindey can do.

DaStars99 11-23-2010 05:26 PM

Well let's see what blindenbacher can bring to this team

Frozen Failure 11-23-2010 06:13 PM

Yay the Swiss guy!

MB94 11-23-2010 06:56 PM

Nice! Can't wait to see how he does!

txdude5101 11-23-2010 07:27 PM

Who should we wave to Keep up Blindenbacher

Modo 11-23-2010 08:40 PM

Go Orville! :yo:

piqued 11-23-2010 08:59 PM

After being in a car wreck, playing with Daley ought to be old hat.

From now on, when going to a game, if you see the scooter parked at the entry of the arena ... you know that Blindenbacher is playing !

I guessed that as a player, he has the priviledge to park it next to the entry door.

piqued 11-24-2010 01:24 PM

Apparently Woywitka is more likely to play tonight.

Of course. Everyone knows Woywitka brings an important element that the Stars otherwise lack. Everytime he plays he creates offense and racks up points like the machine he is.

You've given me a flashback to that video circulated around here before of Blindenbacher on a scooter. Hah!. Good times, they were.

Fistric won't be out for awhile so Crawford would be smart to give Blindenbacher a game while he can instead of giving that walking garbage can another start.

Of course Crawford has not always been smart when it comes to lines

How dare you say something like that about Karlis and Trevor?

I meant that if Blindenbacher is going to get called up because of an injury, I would rather it be one of the two defensemen that don't need the experience and won't be a part of the team in the long run compared to Fistric who meets the opposite of those qualifications. A little cold, but meh.

Blindenbacher to be scratched again tonight, awesome.

I don't understand why Niewendyk would bring him up only to let Crawford scartch him. If you're not going to force Crawford to play him let him play more games in the AHL...

Awesome! Let's get the Wildcat back in there.

Did anyone else see Heika's write-up about Jeff Wildcat Woywitka the other day? Really outstanding stuff.

torero 11-26-2010 07:49 PM

Again no scooter parked next to the entry door :(

eartotheground 11-26-2010 10:38 PM

We might not have had to wait till the last 5 minutes to win the game. Who knows, Blindenbacher could have been the person that leads this team to the Cup :sarcasm:

But seriously regardless of Dallas winning its likely Blindenbacher is better than Woy****ka.
