Too lazy to make one myself. I am still sick, but will be going tonight. Probably green practice jersey night for me...

I'll be there cheering on Butchy! wonder if they'll start him just so everyone can cheer.

CT* 12-01-2010 09:52 AM

I can't take another bad loss, please play the second period tonight.

SphinX 12-01-2010 10:00 AM

PMB puts up one goal and one assist..

My guess, 4-1 Wild

mnwildgophers 12-01-2010 10:18 AM

Please let it be a win.

Vashanesh 12-01-2010 10:43 AM

Of course Butch couldn't return on a game I'd actually be able to watch...

I'm pretty curious how we're going to handle playing against the trap as well, we used to get out-trapped by Tippet when he was in Dallas quite frequently... Who knows how it'll go tonight.

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that another horrid 2nd will kill us, but hopefully I'm wrong.

3-2 Phoenix, we get a late goal with the 6th skater to make it look like a closer game than it was.

ford0016 12-01-2010 11:12 AM

I feel like we will play a strong 1st and 2nd but the third will once again be our concern. Maybe a small comeback attempt will be in order tonight.

3-2 Pheonix

rynryn 12-01-2010 11:14 AM

think maybe we'll show up in the 2nd but be nowhere to be found in the 1st and 3rd? down 2 goals in the first, rally back to 3-2 in the second, then lose 5-3.

BigT2002 12-01-2010 11:16 AM

3-1 us, and that is an achievement considering Phoenix isn't a slouch team anymore.

Goals by:

Koivu, Zids, Burns
Jovi

Going to be an ugly game to watch as far as entertainment. Long stretch pass, tip in, send in one forechecker ourselves, rinse and repeat.

We win. Bad.

GopherState 12-01-2010 12:52 PM

Also, per my new BFF Jose's in net tonight.

Wild win by 2+, much like the Nashville game. Butch with a PP assist to Havlat.

Up7Yours 12-01-2010 01:24 PM

Maybe Theo will win this one for us. I should start predicting a loss so we'd win . :sarcasm:

4-3 Phoenix

And I'll also change my avatar. I love it and appreciate the nice poster who made it, but it has been bad luck.

GopherState 12-01-2010 01:33 PM

Opposition GDT - be nice. Seriously, be nice.

Oh, man, I'm just not gonna go there. I mean, if Atlanta got touchy about low attendance...

usernam* 12-01-2010 02:28 PM

I'm excited to see The Butcher chop up some meat tonight. Might actually watch this one instead of playing Black Ops. Too bad I work til 7:30. I'll be home just in time for the bad period :(.

Generic User 12-01-2010 02:29 PM

There won't be any attendance jokes like there was with Atlanta. The game is being played in Minnesota. But seriously, I'll be nice. Beside the Red Wings, the Coyotes are probably the only Western Conference team that I would cheer for in the Playoffs should the Wild not be there.

EDIT: Forgot, for every minute Butch is on the ice, take a drink. If Butch gets a point, finish your drink.

Game's in St. Paul...so your point still stands.

hipsquare 12-01-2010 02:40 PM

The Coyotes are on to us. Playing a backup goalie against the Wild is just a cheap way to win. (Not that the Wild's played much better against starters lately.)

WildisLaw 12-01-2010 02:41 PM

Tippett is saving them over there. Their leading scorer has only 16 points..yikes

GopherState 12-01-2010 02:45 PM

Well at least it's not Scott Pellerin territory.

And yet they're still outscoring the Wild as a team by 10 goals on the season. Definitely says something about the depth of our scoring.

firstroundbust 12-01-2010 02:48 PM

Dave Tippett owns our soul.

I guess I'll be watching a loss live.
