39th Obsequious Banter Thread: The Gum is Out.

Title to be determined....

Beef Invictus 12-02-2010 03:26 PM

Obviously, coke machines should be involved.

SolidSnakeUS 12-02-2010 03:30 PM

How about "Lavi vs Coke Machines"?

I'm trying to make a joke about the burning of Atlanta (Coke's HQ) but it's just not coming together.

Well, I didn't get the job. I'm feeling pretty sandbagged...mostly because a) it really seems like a set up for the other guy to get the job b) I truly believe that I was by far the better candidate.

I'm done venting...I'm just feeling sandbagged.

Three classes left this semester. One tonight, one tomorrow, one Monday. Throw in a full day's work on Monday at my internship and that is all that is standing between and my finals.

I'll be spending tonight writing a paper on Iran's nuclear proliferation. I have to take a stance as to what other states would benefit by agreeing with my position...it's only gotta be 5-6 pages but needs 8 sources. I have a hard time writing papers where I don't really write anything.

Name it after PK Subban!

PK Subban vs. Coke Machines: Which is the bigger threat?

sobrien 12-02-2010 08:53 PM

#39 - Marty Murray, one of my favorite Flyers of all time.

I know the Coke Machine reference, not sure what it has to do with #39 though, fill me in?

In the last thread it was mentioned that during Lavi's very brief time in the NHL he wore #39.

Re: Title

My suggestions for the title:
- Goal Vending
- The Pause that Enrages
- The Choice of a New Aggravation
- Have a Coke and a Snarl
- Soda Clean and Jerk
- Rage Against the Coke Machine
