Drop in all over the world
Im planning a trip around the world with my friend, just to play drop in everywhere we go, and was wondering where the best drop ins are in Sweden? We are from California, and grew up playing at the AAA level and went on to college, so our skill level is pretty good. Any info on good rinks, drop ins, pubs, bars, hostels, or anything you think might help would be great. Just wanna give'er one more time haha. thanks a lot

Stockholm is a good option. It's the city of Sweden that by far has the greatest number of hockey clubs. And as I write this I am hooked up to the net by a free wifi connection on a hostel in Stockholm, and I would recommend this hostel (http://www.archipelagohostel.se). The location is superb for bars and pubs :)

Yeah but where can you play hockey here though? I don't know there are any indoor rinks where you can just drop in and play. There are most likely kids all over the place.

The only place I know you can play is Zinkensdamm but that's not a rink, that's a frozen football field. Probably the best ice in town though, as it is used professionally for bandy.
I don't know about the skill level there though.

But it's like 10-15 degrees Celsius outside in September anyways.

thanks, both good advice. im going to meet with a travel agent this week to plan the best route for this trip. im going to have to research both of the areas you mentioned, but again any and all help is welcome, this trip is very serious, just in the initial stages of planning.
