Todd White - [Cleared]

This is the 3rd time. Can't say the Rangers did'nt give the guy a chance to catch on somewhere else

He is likely down when Drury is activated hopefully within 2 weeks

Que the trade rumors for clearing cap space though.

I would think if they were making a move Gilroy would get waived as well as he makes way to much

azrok22 12-06-2010 11:41 AM

Does Sather have White on some sort of waiver auto-renewal plan?

hefsbeaver 12-06-2010 11:43 AM

would not suprise me to see the leafs ( or another team desepate for a center) give him a shot.

No team is desperate enough for White. Not even the Islanders.

This guy had 73 points just a couple of years ago. What the heck happened to him?

Sather is the man!

HAPPY HOUR 12-06-2010 11:52 AM

I don't think the guy is as bad as some our fans say. Its the $$$$$ that keeps him from getting picked up.

apice3* 12-06-2010 11:56 AM

I'd experiment with him with Kovy in NJ if the price is right, but no way the Rangers are going to trade him to us for anything.

You can have him for free.

1) The Rangers would certainly trade him.

2) Couldn't the Devs just claim him?

I don't understand how waivers work. Never did, never will.

Already soft player with exploding knees does not fare well in the league, especially not the Atlantic.

Old and slow are a bad combination. That's what happened to him.

Man if White does go to Conn. the Rangers AHL team may have a higher payroll the the Islanders NHL team. Don't know if this is a statement of how bad Sather is or how bad wangster and snowjob are? LOL

HockeyGuruPitka 12-06-2010 12:05 PM

Just out of curiosity, White was waived before right? how did he come back up, doesnt he need to clear re-entry waivers? wouldnt a team have picked him up on half price?

He was never assigned to Hartford.

White+2nd+conditional for Langenbrunner.

On that note, White is getting rewaived every 30 days, was my understanding, so that we can send him down at will if and when Drury and Prospal return to action.

Humor? You trying to trade White+2nd for Langenbrunner in "Waived: Todd White" thread. Now, that’s humor!

yeah, the joke was at how eager some Devil fans had been recently to trade their captain, which was kind of shocking to me.

I clearly over-convoluted.

No idea what it has to do with "Waive: Todd White" thread. Please do not explain, I want to remain clueless.

34 points on the PP, looking at his game logs almost all of them involved kovy, so he isnt as wrong as you wish to make him

almost half his points on the PP, which featured kovy, so hes half right, you're half wrong
