Too little too late (Habs lose 4-2)

Discuss.

great game for both team , but the best team won

Emanresu Wen 12-10-2010 08:45 PM

Refs 4-2

:handclap:

I wouldn't say it was a great game from the Habs. We only showed up in the 3rd, but I'm glad we didn't back down. Some questionable coaching decisions in the last few minutes there.

Bobby G 12-10-2010 08:45 PM

Hammer backing off on a 1 on 1 with an empty net?!! You have to close the gap ASAP, you can't let him shoot

Valiant effort results in 4-2 loss in Detroit

Bah.

Great 3rd.

Zaide 12-10-2010 08:45 PM

We got beat by a bunch of Swedes. Franzen, Zetterberg, Holmstrom, Kronwall, Lidstrom and Ericsson all got a point. Just as Vinnerborg.

McNuts 12-10-2010 08:46 PM

Spacek is almost as bad as MAB defensively.

Ok maybe not, but he's still bad.

The Kremelin Wall* 12-10-2010 08:46 PM

Disappointing loss but it convinced me we can beat the Wings any day.

Sandvich 12-10-2010 08:46 PM

Trade every1

TankEller* 12-10-2010 08:46 PM

Cammalleri and Gomez played poorly, they deserve to get benched, these guys have too big of an ego and should be taught a lesson by coach Martin :teach:

/HF pattern

Hopefully tomorrow won't be a letdown after an intense game and a good effort tonight.

habsman56 12-10-2010 08:46 PM

First time we've allowed 4 goals this season in regulation.

Agreed. That was pretty brutal.

Adam91 12-10-2010 08:46 PM

I hate to use this term, but....moral victory.

Props to Boyd who's made the most of a difficult situation and played a strong game tonight.

neopreneur 12-10-2010 08:46 PM

The game was not lost by Spacek... get real.

Good game, amazing effort....

without the all the penalties, I bet the outcome is in our favour.

I changed the title. He didn't lose it for us but I was pissed with his decision to pass at the end there. Dump it in dude!

Et le But 12-10-2010 08:47 PM

We played a good game against a great team. It happens, take your lumps, move on and crush the Leafs.

YMCMBeaulieu 12-10-2010 08:47 PM

Awesome third period, nice to see the team fight back and almost tie it. Pretty hilarious how they didn't make 1 call on Detroit in the third despite many slashes and crosschecks from behind but whatever hopefully the team still has some gas left and smoke the Leafs tomorrow.

HH 12-10-2010 08:47 PM

People saying Detroit played better need to take off their red glasses. Both teams played half the game. Wings got one more goal and that's it. Move on.

Aspirine 12-10-2010 08:47 PM

Eller is awesome, I hope he keeps this fire burning!

Quarantesix 12-10-2010 08:47 PM

Change the thread name

great game Habs fought until the end

Kostitsyn was bench in the 3 rd probably his worst game of the season

MontrealHabitant 12-10-2010 08:48 PM

overrated team. That is all.

clarke19 12-10-2010 08:48 PM

Great to see Vinnerborg help out his Countrymen and chip in on the win there.
