Maybe Gomez is going to take Pyatt's spot as the 2nd line centre? That would make it look better.

Switch Moen and Kostitsyn and it looks good to me.

I think that Martin is trying to shake up Kostitsyn. Eventually he will be back with Plek and Camma.

If Gomez is ready to go, then he will take place of Pyatt.

I'd be pretty pissed if Moen & Pyatt somehow end up on those top 2 lines come Wednesday though.

Assuming no Gomez:

If Gomez is good to go i scratch Pyatt, drop Eller down to the 3rd line and put Gomez between Patches and Gionta.

These can't be what's used during the game...

Moen works his butt off, but he's not a top 6 player. Our top 6 should look a little something like this ;

Cammalleri - Plekanec - Kostitsyn
Gionta - Gomez - Pacioretty

Given, if Gomez is not ready to go, why not use Eller in that spot?

Well clearly Pyatt is just warming the chair for Gomez, so people should calm down there.

However, whatever on earth possessed him to put Moen on the top line over Kostitsyn.... god only knows.

This proves that our line-up needs Gomez, doesn't it??

IMO the ideal lines would be

Cammalleri-Plekanec-Kostitsyn
Pacioretty-Gomez*-Gionta
Pouliot-Eller-Darche
Moen-Halpern-Lapierre

* = If Gomez can't play Habs call up Desharnais to sub-in.

I really don't understand JM's reason or loveness of having Moen on a Top 2 line. Pacioretty got called up, i think it was a bad move. Wanted Patches to be alone, in the AHL loging big minutes. If you get him in the NHL play him with good players and good ice time.

well - those lines would be balanced....four third lines.

Looks good to me! I hope Pyatt is only there to replace Gomez. If Gomez ain't gonna be there Eller needs to center that line for sure, not Pyatt...

Hopefully Pyatt is on the 2nd line because he's the one getting scratched for Gomez who will be coming back on tuesday.

But what the **** is Martin's obssession with havfing Travis Moen of all players in the top 6?! Instead of Andrei?!
