DECEMBER SCHEDULE:

QUOTES TO NOTE:

It’s a rivalry, but it’s still a new game, and last year was last year.
At the same time, that game at the end of the year was so devastating, after we worked so hard to climb back in it.
- Erik Christensen

Tomorrow, we play one of the better teams, and that should be our only focus right now.
Not trying to get on a long winning streak, just about tomorrow.
- Henrik Lundqvist

Philly's a really good club, a deep team that's playing some of its best hockey.
And it is a great place to play at. We're looking forward to it.
- John Tortorella

Heads Up: The GDT is a work in progress.

Loffen 12-17-2010 08:23 PM

The last game against these ****s was a disaster. Hopefully we'll see a better game from our guys this time around.

nyr2k2 12-17-2010 08:24 PM

Thanks, Lof. And LGR.

Loffen 12-17-2010 08:31 PM

No problem bud.

Philly's lineup is scary. You know you're loaded when Carter and Zherdev plays on the 3rd line...
And Pronger being out is a pretty solid bonus for us.

BroadwayBlues 12-17-2010 08:34 PM

No Pronger should help Gaborik.

I Eat Crow 12-17-2010 08:39 PM

Even without Pronger, this Philly team still looks very scary. Tomorrow is going to be a good test. Going to call Dale Weise getting his first NHL goal in his first NHL game tomorrow, LGR! :yo:

Screw You Rick Nash 12-17-2010 08:54 PM

LGR!!!

PS: What does GPI stand for?

Would show a lot....A LOT if the Rangers come away with a W here.

Beating the Caps, Pens, Yotes, and Flyers to come away with a 4 game win streak could silence some haters and finally get the Rangers the attention they deserve.

LETS GO RANGERS

Hanke 12-17-2010 09:17 PM

How are we 5th in the confrence and 4th in the league? lol

Because we have more points than 26 other teams.

Blueshirt Special 12-17-2010 10:07 PM

We were the proverbial "deer in the headlights" when we met early in the season. We are a much different team now.

That said, Philly is still an imposing adversary, even without Pronger.

A win here, in their home, would be huge. I'll be satisfied if we play tough all the way through.

Oh, and you gotta love Tortorella's attitude:

"Philly's a really good club, a deep team that's playing some of its best hockey.
And it is a great place to play at. We're looking forward to it.
- John Tortorella"

Because Crapsburgh has more points and philly leads the division.

Blueshirt Special 12-17-2010 10:08 PM

League is ranking according pure points.

Conf is seeding with division leaders

GrizMint 12-17-2010 10:16 PM

We are wearing teams down rolling 4 pretty solid lines at this point and the D is killing it right now. Dale should play right into the system and keep it going. Lets hold them 2 periods and then smoke them in the third like we have been doing. Boyle with an assit and goal, Letssss go Rangers!

WhipNash27 12-17-2010 10:30 PM

Horrible start time. Last weekend before Christmas, people will be shopping, not watching hockey.

BlueShirts88 12-17-2010 10:48 PM

Hmmm thinking about making the drive to Philly for this one...

Should I?

I would have to be up at 5am lol.

fiedy88 12-17-2010 11:05 PM

gonna be on the way to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert at the Prudential Center at 1pm tomorrow. i'll be checking for updates from my phone. sucks i have to sit in the rock while my team's playing. oh well, TSO puts on a great freaking concert. LGR!!!

XLJ 12-17-2010 11:41 PM

This is going to be a tough game. Flyers are a deep team. It would be a really unbelievable week for the rangers if they beat them though.

I'm hoping Weise scores a goal. That would make it tough for the rangers to send him back down. He is a much better fit on the 4th line than Todd White.

FromTheSide 12-17-2010 11:44 PM

Hoping MDZ gets his head out of his ass this game and uses that shot to you know...hit the net?

Opposite of this
