Subban/Plekanec altercation

Luc Gelinas - Subban and Plekanec altercation during this morning's practice almost to the point of dropping the gloves.. what's becoming of this!?!

way more intensity in this morning's practice than last nights game..

Hannibal 12-27-2010 01:46 PM

Our players want to drop the gloves in practice but in game situation, they're all scared of dropping the gloves!

TheNewGuy 12-27-2010 01:47 PM

Wow I hope it's not as bad as it seems
we got Pleks for 6 years but I'd hate to see Subban traded o_O

Seb 12-27-2010 01:50 PM

Twice now that these 2 get in some action during training.

speed11 12-27-2010 01:50 PM

again? does this make it a 3rd time these guys have had a little tiff?

Stradale 12-27-2010 01:50 PM

Plekanec and PK again?

I don't have a problem when the guy are intense at practice but when its the same 2 guys that are going at it for the third time in like 1 month, its not really good for the team chemistry.

sampollock 12-27-2010 01:51 PM

show some of that on the ice. during the game, and win won

Jean-Guy Drouin* 12-27-2010 01:52 PM

The veterans are continuing on their will to broke Subban's personality into an other boring, all around player.

Shame on them. Let Subban play his style.

holyhabs87 12-27-2010 01:55 PM

Boys will be boys.

Subban's practicing hard to get back in the lineup. Pleks is one of our hardest workers and is probably getting agitated with this losing streak...**** happens.

Tusk 12-27-2010 01:56 PM

It's nice to see some Habs care I guess. Basing this on what I've read these two but heads, hopefully they respect each others skills because a little chemistry between them would work wonders for our pp's, and their stats.

Whitesnake 12-27-2010 01:59 PM

Cue to Subban being seen as "addition by substraction" or "cancer" or any other stupid stuff like that...

phoque taupe 12-27-2010 02:02 PM

i guess Plek wanna show PK who's the real gangsta

That's good news considering they didn't seem to have a lot of jump, though territorially they carried the play.

CanadienErrant* 12-27-2010 02:06 PM

According to McGuire (CKAC), Subban had also some frictions with Darche, Pouliot and Lapierre during the practice.

It smells really bad.

Where is the coach ?

Where is the Captain ?

Beaker 12-27-2010 02:12 PM

Subban practices hard. It is what it is. You'd think our other players would match his intensity, because they ****ing stink out on the ice. It hurts to watch. It literally hurts my eyes.

Or lack of leadership on the team when just a few weeks ago, it was the Habs' strength. :D

Its not like PK was any better in the last games.

Even though I rather have Subban play over Picard.

CanadienErrant* 12-27-2010 02:16 PM

At some point, the older d-men and injured d-man like Gorges have to understand that they can spend a bit of time out of the line up for the goods of the team....

PK & Weber MUST play.

JM seems to see Subban behanior in a good light:

«C'est sûr que je veux voir ce genre de comportement, a dit Martin à propos de Subban. Ça démontre qu'il veut rentrer dans l'alignement et qu'il est prêt à jouer. On veut qu'il se comporte de cette façon.

«C'est bon pour l'esprit d'équipe. Il n'y a rien de mal à être intense dans les entraînements.»

Over Picard and over Weber.

We hear the same **** every year in a hot streak or at the beginning of the season.

"This is the most united team I've ever been in"

"Chemistry is great this season!"

I'm impressed with PK, not only does he pick on one of our tougher guys, he can multi-task, drop his gloves and talk at the same time.

Over Picard, Weber, Gorges, Spacek.

The only one I won't hate on is Gill, because he just does his thing, game in game out, but the rest haven't done any better than Subban. +, they're all ridiculously slow out there. Molasses slow. I mean, I could even beat them with speed on the side boards.

The mental image of seeing a Beaker puppet streak by Spacek, then putting the puck five-hole on Price has really lightened up my day.

My services are still available, I keep myself in game shape just in case they need me.
