CANADIENS@RANGERS Jan. 11th 7:00PM RDS TSN

All talk of tonight's game here until the GDT opens.

As of yet there are no volunteers for tonight's game.

Since this is now the official GDT, I thought I'd steal this pic from MIG to help spruce this up a bit.

Alex Auld in nets, I believe I just heard.

Le Tricolore 01-11-2011 11:00 AM

De son côté, le Canadien pourrait envoyer le réserviste Alex Auld dans la mêlée.

RDS is saying Auld might play.\

edit: and now they confirm it, heh.

I bet we get Picard, though!

Heading down to the Garden tonight. Usually get a large Hab fanbase turnout, but with it being a Tuesday night with a massive snowstorm on the way, there may be less than usual.

Also--no Price and no Cammalleri against a solid Ranger team...this has the potential to get ugly tonight and it could be a lonnggg train ride home back to CT.

Hope for the best and buy a **** ton of Molson from the lower concourse! Anyone else going tonight?

Interesting night to start him, but since we play the Pens tomorrow, followed by the Rags again on Saturday. I'm ok with this decision.

Why does it seem like everytime the habs are in New york there is a massive snowstorm?

Habs 4 Life 01-11-2011 11:18 AM

Huge game, 4 pts behind and a game in hand, find a way and get the 2 pts

Maybe they'll decide to show up to this snowpocalypse of doom game in NY :shakehead

Man, I hope Wiz keeps his composure against Avery. I just want him to go on talking severely flamboyant to Sean, asking him where his glasses are from his picture, and that his socks hardly hide his cankles.

Avery hasn't done anything this year antics wise. Just a little yapping after the whistle but Torts has him neutered. I wouldn't expect much from Sean.

Especially considering with the addition of Wolski (who should play tonight), I would assume that Avery won't play with Gaborik and Anisimov and will instead get 5 minutes of ice time on the fourth line with Drury and Kris Newbury.

I know Drury slowed down in the past couple of seasons, didn't know it was that bad

And the 21-year-old is brutally candid when he considers how much he learned about hockey in this thinner air.

“Not a whole lot,” Eller said with a tight smile Monday. “You get hungry, you want to get out there. I watch every game on video. It’s not like you learn a whole lot (in the press box).”

Amen...

Wow. I don't know but I really don't think most of the players watch every game on video. It really speaks about his caracter and his desire to improve I think.
