Lehtonen in net...no shocker. First game against former club.

Thrashers host the Flyers tonight in Atlanta, so along with four days since our last game...we get a tired team. Yay schedule makers.

Mason expected to start Saturday for the Thrashers. Pavelec in net tonight against the Flyers, thank God.

Still am haunted by the numerous unreal saves in that 6-5 game in Atlanta last season.

Thrash that team from Atlanta!

Thrash them good!

Thrashers in a slump here, lost tonight to the Flyers. Hopefully we get a tired and dysfunctional team over a desperate one looking to turn things around.

piqued 01-15-2011 02:31 AM

The Thrashers and the Stars are essentially polar opposites when it comes to how they generate offense. Atlanta's attack starts primarily from the backend (their D has already combined for over 100 points) while the Stars, comparatively speaking, get nothing from theirs.

I don't know how you guys do things in Australia but...

ThrasherMinion 01-15-2011 01:45 PM

Kari was always weakest on long shots from point when he played with Atlanta so hopefully the offense created from our D-men will prove to be effective again.

Outside of this game, good luck to your team. Kari's a good guy. Hope you do well in the playoffs.

No one knows as far as I can tell.

The stitches in his hand are a huge set back for him, thankfully.

Dallas looking for their straight consecutive win. With the win, Dallas will have accomplished at least three straight wins for the 5th time (6th if you want to break the 6 game winning streak in half) this season after going all of 2009-2010 without three consecutive wins.
