JANUARY SCHEDULE:

QUOTES TO NOTE:

It’s just the psychology of sports, I guess.
I don’t know. Sometimes the intensity is there from the start, sometimes it isn’t.
We just didn’t turn it around in time.
- Sean Avery

There was a lot of stuff going on. I just feel he (Pacioretty) didn't try to stop.
I kinda lost it. It happens. In this building, it's hard to stay calm.
- Henrik Lundqvist

Everybody looked slow. We didn't have the puck. We didn't get our game going before the 3rd period.
- John Tortorella

Heads Up: The GDT is a work in progress.

New York RKY 01-15-2011 10:57 PM

Loffen why must you continue this misery!!!!

Maybe if you don't post the GDT they won't know there's a game and won't play :D

darko 01-15-2011 10:57 PM

Dubi v Richards Round 4?

LGR

DMPD 01-15-2011 10:58 PM

This will be a win, mark my words!

lgr. :D

JeffMangum 01-15-2011 10:59 PM

Nikkky ZZZZZZZZ.

LGR. Must win, with the froggies slowly gaining points on us in the standings.

JeffMangum 01-15-2011 10:59 PM

double post

BlueshirtBlitz 01-15-2011 11:00 PM

IMO this is one of the biggest games of the season. Following a heart wrenching loss where Hank has to unleash the beast and throw down a win here would be MASSIVE. If we can play like we did in Vanc, or like we did in the 3rd period tonight, we'll give them a run for their money.

Hank has also been playing some of his best hockey ever, imo, and if he's in net this is going to be an emotional one for him.

3-2 overtime win.

Your obsession with other teams players is sorta creepy sometimes, buddy. :loony:

;)

McNashty 01-15-2011 11:05 PM

I'll be there in SEC. 409 with 5 of my friends! Let's bring it boys!

Loffen 01-15-2011 11:06 PM

The only brightside is our 2nd game of a back-2-back record. But Philthy has owned us pretty bad so far, so who knows.

**** Zherdev.

After a game like tonight, it's great they have a game the next day. Best to get right back at it and put this one behind them. I'm also feeling a big game from Avery, don't know why. Will be there in 405 and I'm hoping the Rangers and Jets both pull out victories. I'll be one happy guy if they do lol, LGR!

Zherdev has been my favorite player since I started watching. We all know he's coming back in the summer, so it doesn't really matter.

^^^Is that Arnold Schwartzenegger?

GregNYR19 01-16-2011 12:39 AM

this is not the team i want to see the rangers play after another loss to Montréal the night before

Srs Business 01-16-2011 12:46 AM

damn and i thought WE had 3 strong lines

RGY 01-16-2011 12:58 AM

I didnt get to see all of the montreal game. I know we gave up 3 in the 1st and that was it. I thought the rangers had the better of the 2nd period. And I think the rangers dominated the 3rd especially towards the end. They just couldnt get a lucky bounce. Staal had a great chance on the PP in the 2nd period. I forget who it was in the 3rd who shot it off price's shoulder then off the crossbar. I mean its not like we really shouldve lost that game.

Having said that we lost to montreal earlier in the week and the next game we beat the best team in the league. I'm not afraid of Philly. I think the rangers will come out hungry and win tomorrow night because they know how close they were to tying it up against MTL.

Montreal DOMINATED the first. DOMINATED the 2nd. It was embarassing... thankfully, Henrik put on a clinic.

Yea, we shouldn't have lost... we should have been destroyed.. The Rangers carried the play in the 3rd, but by then they should have been down AT LEAST 5-1..

.. with that said.. I think we see a different Ranger team tonight.. 3-2 Ranger win..

I'll agree with being dominated in the 1st.

I think MTL definitely had great chances in the 2nd and Henrik responded by being great himself. But I thought there were times during the 2nd period that we had our own chances just didnt finish.
