good depth signing

gdsmack267 01-18-2011 08:07 PM

On pace for 35 points in his first full season. Very smart hockey player. Great signing.

Dylonus 01-18-2011 08:08 PM

Shero getting on top of things once again!

Amazing work Shero :yo:

JimsDoors 01-18-2011 08:09 PM

I fixed it

Mike Jones 01-18-2011 08:09 PM

Good signing for the Penguins.

BTW - You might want to change the title as it's a signing and not a trade.

Jeff Finger 4 01-18-2011 08:10 PM

solid player, solid signing. nice job shero.

Harry Hood 01-18-2011 08:11 PM

I love me some Letestu this year. streaky in terms of concrete output, but makes real intelligent plays every single game.

great deal, I'm pretty happy that Letestu and Engelland are part of the near-future for the pens.

Warm Cookies 01-18-2011 08:14 PM

Wish he would've signed for longer.

Still, awesome deal. Test Tube's hockey IQ's among the best on the team.

Smyth94 01-18-2011 08:14 PM

good to see the former pontiac get an extension

WhitecourtWolverine 01-18-2011 08:26 PM

Great signing, I heart Testy. Good price too

EdwardBlake 01-18-2011 08:33 PM

Great depth signing, solid bottom 6 production. RH Shot which Pittsburgh needs. And has an advanced hockey on ice IQ for his experience.

I had him at 750K in most of my 11-12 salary predictions so 625K is a very solid signing.

In Shero we trust!

DwightKSchrute 01-18-2011 08:34 PM

Awesome, having Crosby-Staal/Malkin-Letestu down the middle is nice

3074326 01-18-2011 08:36 PM

Love this. Tube just doesn't make mistakes. And he can chip in offensively. $625k? Awesome.

Zen Arcade 01-18-2011 08:44 PM

I'd pay him that much just for that goal where he made Burmistrov his *****.

lirit 01-18-2011 08:56 PM

Love this signing.

Who Cares - Crosby - Who Cares
Who Cares - Malkin - Who Cares
Who Cares - Staal - Who Cares
Who Cares - Lestestu - Who Cares

:yo:

Now that is some solid center depth.

Kitten Mittons 01-18-2011 08:58 PM

How dare you not care about Talbot??? Give him to us then.

dm1371 01-18-2011 09:00 PM

Solid signing by the Pens.

Captain Hook 01-18-2011 09:01 PM

Just what the Pens needed, more center depth. :sarcasm:

Seriously, he's pretty streaky, but you have to expect that with a guy playing his first full NHL season. I'd expect his play to become more consistent next year. Hopefully he can learn to play a little wing, too. It would help.

Hard to believe he didn't get drafted. He's a little small and he isn't the greatest skater, but he's incredibly hockey-smart, good passer and has a pretty heavy shot. I've seen far less talented guys than him get drafted.

AfroThunder396 01-18-2011 09:02 PM

That's very cheap. Great deal for the Pens.

Asking a little much from a pro hockey player, but what the hell.

Not exactly what I had in mind, CW.

Takao 01-18-2011 09:13 PM

Good signing. Kid works hard

ponder 01-18-2011 09:19 PM

Good price for sure, the kid is already looking like a solid 3rd line C as a rook, and could be an excellent 3rd line C in the future (assuming Staal continues to play in the top 6, of course).

We'll be more than happy to provide him in a package for Ryane Clowe. :sarcasm:
