JANUARY SCHEDULE:

QUOTES TO NOTE:

The last few games, I’ve felt good, I’ve created chances, and I think things were happening. It just wasn’t going in.
Obviously, it surprised me tonight that I got benched there, but it’s the coach’s decision.
Bottom line, I just have to produce and help this team to win games.
- Marian Gaborik

It seems to be a common theme right now, where we wait a little too long sometimes, but then start playing better late.
If we find a way to put a 1st half together like the 2nd halves we’ve been having, we’ll be a pretty good hockey team.
- Derek Stepan

We were a little ragged, but we found ourselves.
In the 2nd half of the game we had a lot of scoring chances, but we just couldn’t finish.
- John Tortorella

trilobyte 01-18-2011 09:50 PM

I'm pretty happy that Ron Wilson decided to let Giguerre face his old Ducks friends, making Gustavsson the only choice for this one.

'The Monster' has been playing pretty monstrously, as in bad. NYR has to go hard and pepper him with an arsenal of shots.

Go hard Rangers, or don't go at all.

ceej730 01-18-2011 09:55 PM

"Obviously, it surprised me tonight that I got benched there, but it’s the coach’s decision. "

Couldn't see this coming?
