How about just Martinek for Stalberg?

Kevin27nyi 01-22-2011 10:56 AM

id rather not get grabner involved.

Why would we even do that? Stalberg is not very good.

Isles pass big time.

Ditto

We don't want to move Grabner. People think because the Panthers put him on waivers that he has low value. If he played the full 82 games this season he'd finish close to 30 goals.

This deal makes no sense. Save bandwidth and close this thread.

Cullksinikers 01-22-2011 11:08 AM

Martinek for a 2nd is fair value for sure.

Maybe the Grabner part, but I think Martinek will be moved and Chicago needs a bottom pairing defensemen. A 2nd for him is fair value.

Grabner's on pace for 20-25 goals in his rookie yr.No interest in losing the speedy Grabner. The isles are already a slow enough team.

Actually, Stalberg is one of the league's fastest.

DisgruntledHawkFan 01-22-2011 11:50 AM

Grabner is a more talented version of Stalberg.

Grabner is probably the league's fastest.

Ya but if they lose Grabner they would still be losing speed even if Stalberg was coming back.
Martinek for a 2nd would be fair value. I doubt the Isles have any interest in trading Grabner.

SLAPSHOT723 01-22-2011 12:01 PM

Grabner's not being moved.

Even if the Islanders got good offers for Grabner I am not sure they can trade him without him going through waivers first
