 Ah crap. Well we still need to win this game.

MetalGodAOD 02-09-2011 05:33 PM

Biggest game of the year so far. Gotta win!

Captain Awesome 02-09-2011 05:54 PM

I think it's no good that you put up a picture of Benn, which directly led to cursing Neal.

JONESINforSETH 02-09-2011 06:14 PM

Hmmm....you know I'm gonna start blaming Lobo for this losing stretch...

(Vancouver doesn't count we've lost to them all year anyway)

Mike Farkas 02-09-2011 06:18 PM

NHL debut for Tomas Vincour - another outstanding 5th rounder from this organization perhaps?

piqued 02-09-2011 06:18 PM

Do not get shut-out, blown-out, or really anything that involves the word 'out'

Cin 02-09-2011 06:33 PM

If they put Vincour up with Brad and Louie you guys will be impressed.

Captain Awesome 02-09-2011 06:57 PM

Doesn't he usually play RW? I know Loui can possibly play LW but it's been a while, not sure what that would be like.

Cin 02-09-2011 06:59 PM

I've seen him play both down here so I figured it didn't really matter.

piqued 02-09-2011 07:44 PM

So... Neal is playing.

Ott - VVandell (new nickname) - Vincour is your 3rd line after all.

piqued 02-09-2011 07:46 PM

That was pretty impressive by Yandle to get back and foil Brichards' semi-breakaway.

piqued 02-09-2011 07:57 PM

Ott should've shot the first time, but he gets another great feed and puts it home into the top corner.

glovesave_35 02-09-2011 07:58 PM

Ok, I've just about had it Razor! Is it pronounced Wandell or Vandell? You can't just change course midstream. If it's the latter then why weren't they pronouncing it correctly prior to that? Seems to me Razor changed his pronunciation after a VS game earlier this season where his national broadcast partner threw out the Vandell incarnation.

MetalGodAOD 02-09-2011 07:58 PM

Loui and Richie get a +1 for that goal, was Ott playing LW on that line?

piqued 02-09-2011 08:03 PM

He starts out a lot of the 1st line's shifts for faceoff reasons, but that time he just seemed to never come off.

piqued 02-09-2011 08:06 PM

That was a real smart defensive play by Loui to give up his stick and then go to the bench real fast and get a new one.

piqued 02-09-2011 08:08 PM

Stop getting sucked up so high Robidas...

piqued 02-09-2011 08:11 PM

Langenbrunner's super-weak clearing attempt costs the Stars a goal.

catters078 02-09-2011 08:13 PM

Worst PK of any playoff team..

Big concern going into March

Kritter471 02-09-2011 08:19 PM

That was an extra weak call on replay, but Wandell set himself up for it. Unless your stick is on the other guy's stick, reaching like that is just asking to get called for hooking or tripping. Stupid play by a guy who got beat.

If Neal's going to keep slumping and Ott will actually crash the net on that line, I vote for a line switch until Neal gets his act together.

IIRC, he started off heading off after the draw but when they forced a turnover so low, he made a quick turn and beelined to the net. It was smart read of the play.
