Fun poll...Who do you hope wins Toronto or Montreal tonight

Just for fun, I'd wonder who you guys would rather see win tonight in the Toronto/Montreal game.

I personally like toronto (because I hate Montreal) but we have Toronto's pick of course and the last 2 years I enjoyed every loss.

But if toronto looses tonight it puts montreal only 1 point behind us.

With the pick I'd rather like to see Toronto loose bacause I'm sure we can pull out enough wins to take the division. Plus we would have 2 games in hand. Any OT loss would be bad so not even gonna go there. But cheering for montreal just makes me feel dirty...

What say you?

Gee Wally 02-12-2011 02:51 PM

**** the Habs.

I'd rather pick later.

Mike Yeos Eyebrows 02-12-2011 02:51 PM

Toronto.

I care more about keeping Boston's lead in the division than I do Toronto's pick at this point (which, for all we know, could get moved).

Numbah4 02-12-2011 02:52 PM

Go Leafs Go! Winning the division is more important than the 2 points Toronto can get. Way more important.

Winnwell Cooperalls 02-12-2011 02:56 PM

I will never root for the Habs. As much as I dislike the Leafs, I have nothing but hate for the scabs.

Ten Thousand Hours 02-12-2011 03:00 PM

What part of this poll is fun?

I'd vote for the Habs but I refuse to vote.

patty59 02-12-2011 03:02 PM

Leafs, but if they lose it better be in reg time

Twisted Tales 02-12-2011 03:02 PM

I hope there's another brawl.

Why cheer on the habs when it's more fun to watch them lose?

icyblue 02-12-2011 03:03 PM

It's a tough one, but went with the Habs losing.
At the very least hoping for a regulation win!

unifiedtheory 02-12-2011 03:03 PM

I hate the the Habs with every fiber of my being but for this year (and last) I want the Leafs to lose to anyone and everyone, even the Habs. It's so great when the Leafs get their doors blown off and their board goes into full meltdown.

If a Toronto win would clinch the division title, then sure, you're right. But two points for Toronto hurts us more than two points for the Habs because when the point totals are so low (as they are for Florida, Toronto, NY, NJ and Edmonton) every point matters more than for teams with higher point totals (us and Montreal). Plus, I care almost as much about the order of the draft than the order of playoff seeds (and if the difference is between 4 and 5 in the draft, I care more about the draft order). Finally, I have more confidence in us the stay above the Habs than I do in Toronto to continue tanking.

I'd have to go with a Montreal win, but that does not mean I'm cheering for Montreal.

only implying.

Kaoz 02-12-2011 03:12 PM

I'd rather they both lost. Since that isn't an option, I hate Montreal with every fibre of my being, so always them.

Fire Julien 02-12-2011 03:13 PM

I'd rather get stabbed in the balls than cheer for Montreal.

Coincidence, I'd rather stab you in the balls then cheer for Montreal.

HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! :biglaugh:

Toronto. Standings more important than pick at the moment.

Blowfish 02-12-2011 03:37 PM

I despise each team equally...We're better than them Habitants so if habs win it won't factor much...bruins will still end up with a better record.

We need a good pick.

Seguins Dragon* 02-12-2011 03:39 PM

Don't care who wins... Montreal loss gives us buffer in standings... Toronto loss improves our pick... win\win

JUST MAKE SURE ITS IN REGULATION!!!!!!!!!!

NO 3 POINT GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mr Cartmenez 02-12-2011 03:40 PM

Toronto by a landslide.

Fu** the Scabs, but I can't see them overtaking us in the standings, so I don't really care if they get the 2 points. I'd rather make sure our pick is better...and with that pick our future.

Greyhounds 02-12-2011 03:41 PM

Leafs. No contest.

UConn126 02-12-2011 03:42 PM

I hate the Canadians so much. I have to root for the leafs.

raNAPOLEONgs 02-12-2011 04:04 PM

Leafs, and it's not close. Now if Osama Bin Laden threw together a team of Al Quaida to play Montreal, that would be a tough decision.

Basically how I feel. The Habs are not a threat to us. We've got two more games against them that we should win. Hopefully the Habs can get it done in regulation.

774EVER 02-12-2011 04:08 PM

What I dont want is a three point game
