Wolski says he tweaked rib muscle end of first period, hopes to skate Tuesday

Hopefully it's not too serious.

NYROrtsFan 02-13-2011 06:09 PM

I like him a lot on the point on the powerplay so hopefully he's alright.

He's extremely composed on the point though and typically makes the right decision. Also has good creativity.

Nosferatos 02-13-2011 06:12 PM

bejesus, us an injuries...

Fitzy 02-13-2011 06:13 PM

Sounds like its pretty minor.

I like Wojtek at the point though. I think that could potentially be a permanent role for him on this team moving forward.

Doesn't sound too bad. It's not fractured bone, just a pulled muscle. Could take from a day to about a week to heal. Just needs rest, no surgery required.

Loffen 02-13-2011 06:14 PM

Dangit.

Vitto79 02-13-2011 06:40 PM

he has 3 days before the next game lets not freak out

MisterUnspoken 02-13-2011 07:29 PM

I really like this guy I hope he's not out of action. Seems like a hard working player with some talent -- nice trade by Sather ;)

Barbara Underhill 02-13-2011 07:30 PM

Rib injuries suck, even minor tweaks and bruises can cause some extreme discomfort.

bettercallstaal 02-13-2011 09:09 PM

He looked to be in a lot of pain. I'm glad it's not too serious.

NYRFAN218 02-13-2011 09:10 PM

Least there's a little break here so it can heal.

AdamGravesNight 02-13-2011 09:35 PM

Rangers finally get a forward working on the point, and he tweaks a rib muscle? This season hasn't been the easiest, that's for sure.

gravytrain6t 02-13-2011 09:55 PM

I hope "Feds" at least, will be coming back. He and Prospal bring some much needed leadership (and possibly a calming effect) to a young team playing for such a demanding, intense coach.
This certainly doesn't help.

Fitzy 02-13-2011 09:56 PM

I imagine Christensen will be the man out when Feds gets back. Stepan on the RW today was unfair.

Patriks7 02-14-2011 01:21 AM

Here we go again...

Aves has played well the last few games. Christensen not so much.

I think we got struck by 10 Biblical plagues or something this year. Sather, please, let his people go already!

Blueblood 2 02-14-2011 08:55 AM

Another injury? Dirty Pens!!

Agreed.

His overall effort and fight has impressed me. I knew he had skills, but I expected someone more docile.

Christ has been doing some decent things out there.

But Aves doesn't need to sit either.

UAGoalieGuy 02-14-2011 10:54 AM

Any word on Wolski's status yet?

MrAlmost 02-14-2011 12:51 PM

Man this is bummer.

Hey AdamGravesNight, thats a sweet avatar. I love the Venture Bros. :yo:

LotsOfHags 02-14-2011 11:20 PM

Get well soon Wojtek! This guy has been something good ever since arriving here.
