I just came here to post this.

Super lame, Forsberg. I am disappoint.

KimiFerrari 02-14-2011 11:13 AM

That was the worst comeback ever...

Stockholm Syndrome 02-14-2011 11:15 AM

aww. Well, he tried. Foot must be acting up, or he just doesn't have it anymore. Godspeed, Foppa.

OriginJM 02-14-2011 11:17 AM

So sad, I wanted to see him on the scoresheet at least once this season.

=[

At least he got on in the - column?

Terence Peterman 02-14-2011 11:24 AM

He's still Peter the Great.

Chessarmy 02-14-2011 11:24 AM

That was quick

Mgkibbles 02-14-2011 11:28 AM

I watched a bit of both games Forsberg played over the past few days, and Foppa still has all the hand skills, but the skating speed of Bill Guerin ultimately killed his game.

He had a minus-2 the other night.....

Bob Clarke Fan Club 02-14-2011 11:34 AM

Don't imagine anyone is really surprised.

Wish he would have got a point or two before he retired. Thing is he didn't look bad at all in those two games, even though his +/- said otherwise, there were a few moments where he made people look silly, and his passing was still incredible. Must be just too painful with his foot, and doesn't want to ******* colorado around by being in and out of the lineup, and not knowing if foppa or floppa is gona turn up from night to night when he does play.

mirimon 02-14-2011 01:17 PM

Too bad. I had hoped to see him play against Wilkes... Pittsburgh Penguins. He's been a hero since 1992 over here, so it's tough to see him not going out in the way he wants to.

Yukon Cornelius 02-14-2011 01:46 PM

Forget all the misguided comebacks, not playing one last game in front of your home fans tonight, I have a problem with that.

Hollywood Couturier 02-14-2011 02:11 PM

:cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry: :cry::cry::cry::cry:

It's a sad day once again.

dingbathero 02-14-2011 02:38 PM

It's sad from the Fans perspective he didn't play @ home.... at least one game there, then retire.

StandingCow 02-14-2011 03:06 PM

Sad, I feel bad for peter. Hopefully he gets into coaching or something.

ShawnTHW 02-14-2011 03:16 PM

Good...

Orange Crush 89 02-14-2011 04:39 PM

I can't help but want to laugh and feel bad all the same.

GKJ 02-14-2011 05:11 PM

The only thing that is sad is how pathetic Forsberg looks. Again.

DeadPhish5858 02-14-2011 05:36 PM

At the time of this post, there were 21 other posts in the thread.

Fitting.

That's easy to say when looking from the outside in.

He was finished after the season we traded him to Nashville. The only person on the planet who didn't know that was Peter Forsberg. His body just cannot hold up.
