Stars/Pens discussing Neal for Goligoski trade

The Stars and Pens don't even need GMs. Our two fanbases have been saying this should happen for some time now. Neal for Goligoski+2nd?

Trading Neal would be the worst thing the Stars ever did. This won't happen.

They don't know they are going to lose him, that's for sure. Odds are they re-sign him if ownership is in place in time.

They could use Goligoski. I'm not a big Neal fan, streaky and just seems like something is missing with him, but he's still very young maybe he puts it all together.

Wow. that is quite the trade if it happens. But I figured Pittsburgh would hold off on making these kinds of trades until next year when their core might be all healthy again. But if I'm the Pens, I make this trade, hands-down.

I don't like it for Dallas. Gogo and a 2nd like someone mentioned sounds fair, but I doubt I'd do it if I were the Stars.

People really undervalue Goligoski. All he's done his whole hockey life is produce, and he's better defensively than he's given credit for.

Dallas has plenty of scoring in richards, erickson, morrow, riberio and benn. They can afford to give up Neal while the pens D is strong enough in letang, orpik, martin, and Michalek shutdown island where they can give up gogo. Trade makes sense for both teams and hopefully it happens.

I will drive Goligoski to the airport myself.

I'd even do a Goligoski and a first for Neal and a second.

It makes too much sense. And for all the bashing PIT fans are laying out on Goligoski, I've come to think that they don't deserve him in their team.

Crosby produces enough with Kunitz and a fill in. I say put neal on malkins line. could you imagine a Neal-Staal-Malkin line?

I think the agreed upon deal yesterday by Stars and Pens fans was something along the lines of Goligoski and Tangradi for Neal Glennie and a mid round pick.

From an eternal point of view it does make a lot of sense.

Goligoski gets a lot of crap that isnt deserved. For an offensive D men who is signed for under 2 million he is like a +20, has like 6 GWG and on pace for another 40 point season. Gogo would shine in Dallas due to them having a very solid top 6.

I actually like Neal better with Crosby personally. However, a Kunitz-Staal-Malkin line has some pretty insane potential too.
