This Weekend's games: Most important weekend this year?

I would think we need at least three points out of this weekend. I think an o-fer would send panic running through the organization as far as this year goes. It could well determine if we tried to move a piece or two we were not expecting to this year. A ton of possibilities come out of these two 4 point games. A sweep would be nice as you think at some point the titanic here will start missing some icebergs. But after seeing what Dallas did to Detroit and the punch in the gut early this week, zero is realistic too.

Thoughts?

The actual games being played this weekend are pointless. The biggest game this weekend will be what Poile is able to do in the player management field. Our franchise's future (aka weber) depends on Poile doing something to wake the team up.

No. The most important weekend this year was Friday/Sun games Dec 31 and Jan 2. Nashville had just lost 5 games in a row (badly, I might add outscored 18-5), and they were kicking off the January Road Trip from Hell. They won 4-1, 4-1 against the Wild and Blowjax and saved (for then) the season from spiraling into the abyss by winning the next six overall.

THAT was the biggest weekend this season.
