Crap.

Telos 02-25-2011 10:19 PM

Terrible news. Put him in the shelf and don't touch him till he is 100% Need to get him healthy. Moller should get a look here.

bobafettish* 02-25-2011 10:20 PM

i blame murray lol.

ibleedkings 02-25-2011 10:21 PM

That sucks big time. He shouldn't have even been playing down there.

Alternate Jersey 02-25-2011 10:21 PM

omg no =(

DAkings20 02-25-2011 10:21 PM

Yup should have never been sent down in the first place

Orenji 02-25-2011 10:22 PM

That really sucks.

Keep him on the shelf till the start of next year's camp.

AKAY47 02-25-2011 10:24 PM

I agree with everyone here, he shouldn't have even been there in the first place. Oh well, that's a huge blow to Manchester's run, it would've been nice to have him.

DAkings20 02-25-2011 10:25 PM

Monarchs blogger even mentioned that he was most likely gonna be called back up in the near future as well, ****ing blows.

JBernierFan 02-25-2011 10:26 PM

If it's the same shoulder as he hurt last year, let's hope it isn't a nagging problem in his career.

RightKinger 02-25-2011 10:26 PM

That really sucks, he didn't really deserve to be sent down and now his season is over. Hopefully the kid can build on what he did this season, bulk up a bit, and come back strong next season. I have high hopes for Lokti.

Shellz 02-25-2011 10:30 PM

Why does it matter if he was sent down or not? Players do get hurt in the NHL.

CNS 02-25-2011 10:33 PM

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!

Raging right now. <3 Lokti. This sucks lol.

JT Dutch* 02-25-2011 10:34 PM

... Well, I said that if Loktionov stayed down in Manchester beyond the game with Anaheim, I was going to be very disappointed. And now, this happens.

I realize this type of injury could have happened with the Kings, but I do think that something like this just illustrates the issues I have with this management team. I don't doubt their ability to garner talent, I doubt their ability to make use of it once they have it. Loktionov was mismanaged, and now he's on the shelf again.

Skebo 02-25-2011 10:47 PM

A phone call away my ...!!!

Tadite 02-25-2011 10:52 PM

Bad luck. Poor guy was going to end up with 40+ games in the NHL!

etherialone 02-25-2011 10:54 PM

"Likely"

Lets see how this shakes out. If you read what caused the speculation it was that his coach said that he thought that it looked blah blah blah.

I am not saying it isn't serious but lets see what the real deal is before we go writing any obituaries.

Willard 02-25-2011 11:11 PM

Loktionov's timing with his injuries is about as rotten as it gets. I feel bad for the guy.

When his head coach says he's out for the season I believe it.

Live in the Now 02-25-2011 11:14 PM

Eventually he was going to get hit hard in the NHL and what was going to happen? He needs to put on weight. It's a bummer but not remotely surprising.

FrozenKing18 02-25-2011 11:17 PM

Wow.

TonySCV 02-25-2011 11:18 PM

When he gets injured he does it in style.

It just sounds better when complaining about the Kings. I'm sure people could say that he shouldn't have been up with the Kings in that game against Edmonton when he got hurt last year. Helps to make the Kings sound inept. That, and people just channeling their inner Dante Hicks.

At least it wasn't a knee or head injury.
