Louie Caporusso - Taking Questions

We'll be chatting with the Michigan Wolverines senior tonight. He's injured right now but hopes to be back int he line up for the CCHA playoffs in a couple of weeks.

If you have a hockey question for The Love Expert you can fire them off to us at: pipeup@theteam1260.com and we'll do our best to direct them at him for you.

The show can be heard between 9-11 PM Eastern time www.thepipelineshow.com and it will be archived if you miss it live.

Cheers!

If you care... you can find the archive of the show and the interview with Caporusso HERE.

We had some fun with him but he was a good sport.

With JOB, Caporusso, Blood, ...etc finally starting their pro career's we'll finally see how Muckler's final draft pans out.
Wonder if anything's ever gonna happen with Bashkirov.

i was actually gonna start a thread about Louie...

when do we think he could play for the big club?

danishh 03-02-2011 07:21 PM

he's in the AHL next year for sure, maybe an injury callup for a few games, but i doubt he gets much of a sniff.

Re-evaluate after a season. Could depend on the progression of the swedes, if condra/greening stick, if 2011 NSH 1st rounder is a forward, etc.

Depends if he even signs with us. He's a senior and if he doesn't sign by a certain date becomes a UFA.

This organization seems to lack centres all of a sudden so I would guess that he would sign to play in Bingo. There is probably a better chance of climbing up the latter in Ottawa (a last place team) than somewhere else. Of course, that being said, it's also quite likely that Potulny resigns a two way with Ottawa as well.
