Blues vs Caps. 7pm. 3/3/11

Didn't see one started .... and FWIW I'm 1-0 in GDT's :)

So yea ....

Us vs. Them.

2 Point Night .... Book it.

Blues play a pretty restrictive style of game so while I think we will get the 2pts it promises to be a snoozer.

The Caps will match their trap with our trap. Trap trap trap trap.

I hope there will be a couple fights and some hitting at least.

Wideman strikes against his old team.

Holtby practicing with the Caps today; interesting since he hasn't been practicing with the Bears since his latest injury. Maybe he skated in Hershey yesterday while the Bears were in Norfolk?

I believe I read that somewhere, regardless it's nice to see 2 capable goalies skating.

Can we run halak from the net if he plays? Please.

He's not healthy. Out for some time (part of the reason the Blues were firmly in the "sellers" category, IINM).

LangwaysMullet 03-03-2011 09:42 AM

yea, he's got something going on with his hand, broken bone or cracked bone, along those lines

if he does play, it will be his first game back from a bad hand bruise.

I was just getting my updates from my ESPN fantasy team, and they keep saying "bruised hand."

Between Halak, Gonchar, Richards, Kunitz, and Alfredson all being injured, I'm just trying to hold on and make the playoffs, then see what happens.

I’d like to see a decisive victory for a change, something like 4 -1, 5-2. Tampa lost last night, Pittsburgh only got a point, we need to capitalize… Let’s see what Arnotts talk yielded.

OVrocks 03-03-2011 10:12 AM

Ovechkin with Ovechtrick!

You're not a man, you're a Bishop, for God's sakes.

Last game against St. Louis we matched up pretty well. That was back in October/November though. I think a similar victory tonight will help us make some waves.

Drake1588 03-03-2011 11:02 AM

jprutherford Jeremy Rutherford | Conklin will start against Washington tonight.

Another Rob Ray, Bishop?

So, it's not the Bishop after all. It's Fred. Oh fiddlesticks.

Would love to see a big Caps win, but St Louis plays pretty hard. I can't wait for the game to start.

Ovechkins Wodka 03-03-2011 02:04 PM

bday Hatty for sasha in a big caps win

AllIsFehrNLoveAndWar 03-03-2011 02:10 PM

Conklin was recently on waivers, never underestimate a man playing for his job.
