Personally as a Price supporter from Day 1, ive been waiting for this game ALL year, even MORE then saku's return to montreal

By miracle, Halak was activated tonight, but the blues play tonight, do they dare start halak tomorrow at home on a back to back? does martin dare start auld vs a weaker opponent?

WILL WE EVEN GET a price vs halak at all or will it be back up vs back up!?

i hope the coaches realize the significance and let both play vs each other, i KNOW it doesnt really decide "who is the best once and for all!" but it be GREAT for bragging rights, i know secretly, though theyll never admit it, both guys want to beat each other, i wanna see who steps up!

Haha, Price vs Halak. I'm not even able to care about that, it's been settled IMO.

I will most definitely be cheering for Price and my Habs, but I still love Halak and everything he did for us. An amazing goalie, an amazing person, and I wish him the best.

I hope for a 1-0 shootout win with Desharnais scoring the winner with Pacioretty's jersey. :P

As far as the best goes? Both are pretty amazing. Price is having an incredible year and Halak is having a pretty good year, although St. Louis is a defensive team (at least from the games I've watched).

I'd still be comfortable with Halak in net for us, but I'm just as happy with Price. I was a Price fan long before, I just lost a little faith but he's made me re-gain my confidence in him. I would have never of been one of the fans that booed him, just an FYI.

Blues certainly gave up the season but you never know when you play a Western Conference team.

I rember as soon as the schedule came out people circled this game as a price vs halak thing and people assumed that price would get booed during this game not any more price has been a lot better then halak this year:laugh::laugh:

It's pretty hard to get excited for this game.

Halak is playing tonight. Is he playing tommorow for sure? That may not be good for Montreal if its true. he is 3-1-1 GAA - 1.97 Svpct - .929 when playing on consecutive nights.

I was excited about this game, but after yesterday I don't really care much anymore. It still feels like the third period, some sort of new hockey reality that's just a lot less exciting for now. An injustice has gone unpunished, that's all I can think about. My nephew is inconsolable. Wish this game was next week.

I'd be down for starting Auld. We need to give Price some more nights off down the stretch. Would much rather have Carey in net for a game that could have a bigger impact on conference standings on Saturday. Though we do have Tampa and the Rangers on consecutive nights next week, so maybe Carey plays and Auld just gets New York.
