That PIT timeout, was that just to try to take away Price's shutout?

It wasn't fun but the Habs played an insane defensive game. Gill, Hamrlik and Mara were especially rock solid.

edit: yeah what about the timeout and pulling the goalie 30 seconds from the end of the game at 3-0?

edit2: Eller will be awesome when he'll add a bit of muscle.

First and foremost;

Paul Mara was a freaking beast tonight.

Plekanec, Kostitsyn, Cammalleri, Weber, Eller, White, Halpern, and Price were all fantastic.

Everyone else was very solid.

Gomez was, well, better than usual. :clap:

Easiest looking shutout perhaps in his NHL career. When he took his mask off in the last minute he barely had a sweat. Wasn't it the Pens players that said they barely put up a sweat after a game vs the Habs?

Give this team credit for being resilient. Not a surprise they had a rough game in St. Louis, but they really got back to playing their game, and despite the unusual start time, overall they played a good road game.

We might not be the biggest.
We might not be the most skilled.
But this team has more heart than any other team in the league!

Very solid road game. The team played much better than they did against the Blues.
They looked a lot like the team that had just won 5 in a row.

Cammy stepped up. Price was spectacular. A great team effort by everybody.
