Name for Williams-Kopitar-Penner line

As cute as Wi-Ko-Pe(dia) line is , it doesn't really scream HOCKEY.
so what about the WICKED line , as in

To describe how great something is: "This car is wicked cool!"
To show amazement: "Wow, that game is wicked awesome!"

From the Urban Dictionary

wicked 1 sound awesome cool sweet sick amazing rad great good tight

super brilliant mad hella bad ill fun killer fly fresh safe evil ace incredible
chill pimp neat bomb dude hip very mint swicked best wow

Did you just have to use the Urban Dictionary to define "wicked"? :P

Mattias 03-17-2011 09:29 PM

I'd say wait till the line produces more then 40 games decently before giving a name...

my dual pennies.

FrozenKing18 03-17-2011 09:34 PM

Wouldn't give it a name yet

Telos 03-17-2011 09:43 PM

I actually like Wikopedia. It isn't the best, but it sounds good and rolls off your tongue.

Alternate Jersey 03-17-2011 09:46 PM

i like wikopedia too. where's the penner part of "wicked"?

Muzzinga 03-17-2011 09:57 PM

so the wicked witch of the west was rad?

Nex06 03-17-2011 09:59 PM

Considering last 5 years, I would call it The Line. Simple and true.

I don't know why there need to be parts of players names in the line. Is that usual?

Anyway I think that it's best to let that line bring Kings the cup first and THEN it gets the name.

Scottkmlps 03-17-2011 10:21 PM

Do people really still say "wicked awsome" and/or "wicked cool"?

hauspaint 03-17-2011 10:27 PM

1st line.

The Kopitar Line

The line we all really loved until Terry Murray breaks it up to "balance the scoring."

After that big loss, I wonder if TM will keep them together.

Ex Line or X-Line

BigBrown 03-18-2011 03:02 AM

I don't like naming lines unless they've actually been together and successful for more than a few weeks.

Pretty much all of New England says it. Except for southwest Connecticut ... they try too hard to be like New York.

RonSwanson* 03-18-2011 08:43 AM

Why do lines have to have a name anyway, least of which a line that's been together less than 10 games?

I've been in Boston for a day and have heard people say that at least 5 times.

dbbourn 03-18-2011 09:34 AM

LAPD... wait, what year is it? I know it is exciting to have a line that might be worth naming. I don't think the King's have had THAT opportunity in 10 years....

but it is WAY too early and the line will probably be broken up by the end of the year...

-just sayin'
