QUOTES TO NOTE:

Lately I think that has been the key for us, having great starts and then playing good hockey from there.

It was awesome, you could just feel the electricity going through the building.
We knew they were pulling for us and were behind us, and you just feed off that.
- Michael Sauer

We’re gaining momentum and playing with great energy. But we are also still fighting for our (playoff) lives.

Heads Up: The GDT is a work in progress.

TrollololBoyle 03-19-2011 09:00 PM

Let's make the Pengy fans cry!

NYGRYK21 03-19-2011 09:05 PM

I want at least a point.

New York RKY 03-19-2011 09:06 PM

Gotta win this game after CAR's win last night.

Try to catch MTL if possible.

NYR 2 - PIT 1

Dubinsky, Christensen, Kunitz

BRONX_MADNESS* 03-19-2011 09:09 PM

I feel a strong multiple goal aura emanating from Alex BEAST MODE Kovalev. His warrior stick shall smite us but NYR will prevail 5-4. Alex BEAST MODE...well, at least 2 points from the man. NUFF SAID.

Bulls9220 03-19-2011 09:12 PM

I'm gonna go out there and say 6-2 Rangers. And the Penguins score the 2 first. Second we get 2 and 3rd we get 4.

Blatant 03-19-2011 09:15 PM

I just don't get how Pit wins with that lineup right now.

Let's see what we can do, gonna be a big game. Buf won tonight, Car won last night. Need a win.

The main reason we win is our defense is amazing even with Orpik out, the team is gritty as hell and usually outworks the opposition (Torts and Bylsma basically have the same style- you rarely see the Rangers or Pens get outworked in a game) and Fleury has been incredible this year ever since that bad week he had at the start of the year.

MorrisWanchuk 03-19-2011 09:25 PM

want 4 points from the next 3 games - good to get some from the off v Pitt

surf 03-19-2011 09:33 PM

4-2 Rangers.Take it to the bank.

Prospal
Stepan
Gaborik
Gaborik

JeffMangum 03-19-2011 09:34 PM

Kris Letang with 2g 1a. And he whips his hair back and forth, which causes me to faint.

:sarcasm:

No excuse for a loss. Look at that lineup. But it's an early game on NBC, we'll lose.

Yeah that's what I have seen when I watch, but I just gotta give credit to Blysma because he lost his 2 best offensive players, and has a guy playing 1C that didn't start the year with the team.

JeffMangum 03-19-2011 09:35 PM

Bylsma IMO should be coach of the year. They're in contention for the division missing Crosby/Malkin for 2~ months.

Revelation 03-19-2011 09:49 PM

I'm on travel for work here in Pittsburgh. Got a ticket to the game tomorrow! Hoping for a win.

We really need 2 points here. With the injuries the Pens have, there is no excuse for a loss. I don't care who we have in net.

FultonReed 03-19-2011 09:56 PM

let's ****in go, boys.

broadwayblue 03-19-2011 10:15 PM

4 wins in a row would be a season best. And after the game against Montreal we might be due for a let down tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully that's not the case.

Just win baby.

We did crush philly last weekend though ;)

Edit: Two weekends ago! :dunce:

RGY 03-19-2011 10:39 PM

Gonna be missing the game unfortunately due to it starting at 12:30.

If we can win tomorrow i like our chances of making the playoffs down the stretch here. A win tomorrow puts us at 82 points. We have the panthers, isles, sens, and thrashers ahead on the schedule. That could potentially be 8 points right there putting us at 90. Obviously nothing is a sure thing but a win over the penguins tomorrow puts us in good position to make the playoffs.

McDonagh 03-19-2011 10:47 PM

Someone make sure I wake up in time for this one, haha.

We should win this, but when we should win we lose

Inferno 03-19-2011 10:51 PM

Rangers better show up and work their ***** off.

if we play our game....4-1 rangers win.

if we don't...3-1 penguins win.

johnnydollaz89* 03-19-2011 11:08 PM

Rangers and #winning and i think so!

Jackson Ranger 03-19-2011 11:15 PM

Keep it going! :handclap:

I've been impressed with Jeffery. Don't take him for granted.

FromTheSide 03-20-2011 12:04 AM

Aww i was planning to make the GDT :(

Anyway, That "not confirmed" blank picture over where hank's face is supposed to be, is giving me a scare.

DoTheBlue 03-20-2011 01:25 AM

They're 0 for 4 attempts trying to extend 3 game winning streaks. This is a good time to put that streak to rest. LGR!
