Everybody needs to do the right things and, just talking about the way we finished up the game in the third period, that’s critical now. You’ve got to trust your structure and your system and give it the best opportunity you can, as a group now, to finish games off and play the right way."

We played the right way, we kept the game simple and ended up getting a couple goals and finishing it off with the right attitude. I was very happy with the way the game ended."

NOTE : Regarding LARGE SIZE IMAGES / YELLOW RE-SIZE IMAGE BARS ABOVE PICS, let me offer up one nice little suggestion ...
This will get rid of those pesky yellow resize bars over the top of some larger pictures ... as they annoy the hell out of me and maybe they do you also ?
- Go into/click on your "USER CP" {control Panel} up top left in the Teal bars
- on the left under 'Settings & Options' click on "Edit Options"
- scroll down to 'Thread Display Options', and then 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- click on the 'Drop Down List Box' over on the Right of 'Please Select the Resize Mode'
- select it to "KEEP ORIGINAL SIZE"
- SAVE your selections !
There ... now don't that look MUCH BETTER

I know you put the :sarcasm: in but if you would like someone to watch on the Oilers check out Teemu Hartikainen...he really has stepped up lately.

I give us a good shot

Go Kings Go!!!

Hey kings fans, neutral observer here (sabres fan).....

I watched the Oilers/Flames game the other night and I was fairly impressed with a lot of the no-name forwards the Oilers have...They were very fast, and took it to the Flames for a good part of the game....

2 questions for you guys:

1) How do you think your defense will fare against a very fast group of forwards like the oilers have ?

2) With the loss of Kopitar, How confident are you in your teams chances for the rest of the year and playoffs ? Do you think your tight defensive system can get even tighter, and carry you guys ?

Probably well. We've beaten them all three times this season. The weird thing is that none of us really consider the Kings to be a team that deals well with speed.

Not too confident, I thought we had a good shot to get moving to the WCF but that seems to be dead now. Our defensive system could definitely get tighter and move us through a round. We'll just have to wait and see.

Prince 03-29-2011 12:04 PM

I was at the Oilers v. Blues game on Thursday. The Oil gave up during the game.

Hope the Kings come out strong, and take it to the Oilers. Kings should win this going away.

Prince

damacles1156 03-29-2011 12:06 PM

Poni and Simmer need to start scoring.

johnjm22 03-29-2011 12:20 PM

The Oilers suck. They lost 4-0 to the Blues. :sarcasm:

DAkings20 03-29-2011 12:29 PM

Do it for Kopi, Willy and Lokti! We can maybe even throw in Parse:sarcasm:

alpa 03-29-2011 12:39 PM

I''ll stick my neck out once again and predict another win, two more points for the Kings.
