8.0.8 O-Tech

I just picked up this stick for a steal. It was retailing for $229 and it was on sale for 1 day only for $129 and this stick is incredible. Anyone else have any input on this stick?

heard it's a great stick, much better than the old gen o stick. the only issue i have with o stick is once blade breaks, you can't convert it in to a tapered shaft.

One of my favorites out there. Really light and durable.

I had the original O-Stick, it was so bad and I have not gone back to Reebok since. From what I hear it is a good stick, but I am never buying a Reebok stick again

Update on the 8.0.8:

Ouch! I bought a clearance 10k for $100 and broke the blade within 5 minutes (got it stuck in the zamboni door). Bad luck I guess. I saw the 808 on sale for $100 at a local shop but passed as it felt kind of heavy and clunky.

haha.

I've used my 8.0.8 for 2 years now and have leaned into quite a few clappers, my stick still hasn't broken. Must have been bad luck.

Update again:
I have mailed it back to Reebok and they are mailing me out the newest stick on the market. One thing Reebok has that Easton doesn't have when it comes to the return policy is the ID number needing to still be on the stick. Apparently Easton doesn't expect you to put tape on the stick where the ID number is located at.
