Lenny Dykstra arrested

LOS ANGELES (AP)—Former New York Mets and Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Lenny Dykstra was arrested for investigation of grand theft, a day after he was charged with a federal bankruptcy crime, authorities said Friday.

Dykstra, 48, was arrested Thursday night by Los Angeles police at his Encino home on suspicion of trying to buy a stolen car, police spokesman Officer Christopher No said. He did not have other details.

Dykstra remained jailed Friday.

His arrest came a day after Dykstra, in an unrelated federal complaint, was charged with embezzling from a bankruptcy estate. He faces up to five years in federal prison if convicted.

He must have spent all his money on chew.

The man is off his rocker, and has been for some time.

And, as an aside, "Officer No" is a hell of a cop name.

He's become a complete doosh. It's a shame because he was a big part of that 93 team. Now, he'll be remembered for steroids, chew and theft.

If you want a good laugh and know basic portfolio theory, risk management, CAPM/BOPM, and knowledge of the derivatives markets, check out when he used to do Lenny's Numbers or something. He thought he could make it as a market/options analyst. He failed. Miserably. The strategy he used? No risk analysis, no market theory or anything. He just used the famous blackjack/roulette Martingale betting strategy. No, im not ****ing joking. He lost quite a bit of peoples money from that.
