Part 1

Bolts in 6
Nucks in 5

Meh

Stars99Lobo37 05-12-2011 10:51 PM

Bruins in 7
Nucks in 5

Worst Stanley Cup Final ever.

Ambassador Of Fun 05-12-2011 10:53 PM

Go Tampa. If not Tampa, either of the other two besides San Jose.

MetalGodAOD 05-12-2011 10:55 PM

Now I definitely have to root for the East. If Tampa doesn't make it I'm going to shoot myself. Hate all the other 3 teams.

piqued 05-12-2011 10:56 PM

3/3 locking threads exactly at 1K

Sharks
Bruins

6 for 6 in picking the West. The other one doesn't matter, you hear that Chris??

Modo 05-12-2011 10:57 PM

Good timing, Lobo.

There have only been three threads on this board that had to be closed due to the post limit being reached.

All three were closed at exactly 1000 responses.

Impressive.

Also, would a Tampa Cup win mean they're not as interested in Richards this offseason?

Or you could look at it, they get to the finals and lose and see Richards being the one piece that they're missing to push em over the top...even with crappy goaltending (though Roloson has been great since they went down 3-1 to the Pens).

Of the remaining teams, only one I want to lose is Boston. Have no preference of the other three who wins the cup.

1. Washington vs 8. New York - Washington in 6
2. Philadelphia vs 7. Buffalo - Philadelphia in 5
3. Boston vs 6. Montreal - Boston in 7
4. Pittsburgh vs 5. Tampa Bay - Tampa Bay in 4

So that's 7/8 of the teams right, and only 1/8 of the amount of games right. Heh.

Round 2:
1) Vancouver vs. 5) Nashville - Nashville in 7
2) San Jose vs. 3) Detroit - Detroit in 6

1) Washington vs. 5) Tampa Bay - Washington in 5
2) Philadelphia vs. 3) Boston - Boston in 7

Only one I'm not sure about is Boston/Philadelphia.
Great, I go from 7/8 to 1/4 for a grand total of 8/12. Then there is 1/12 for the amount of games. Just brutal.

1) Vancouver vs 2) San Jose - Vancouver in 6
3) Boston vs 5) Tampa Bay - Boston in 5

Captain Awesome 05-13-2011 12:58 PM

I went from 7/8 to 0/4, impressive.

Boston in 7
Sharks in 6

3)Boston vs. 5)Tampa Bay- Lightning in 7

chrissmith 05-14-2011 06:48 PM

3/4 last round and 11/12 so far, the East being of massive importance.

Bruins in 6
Nucks in 6

What the hell is going on.

Brett Clark just rushed coast to coast for a goal.

piqued 05-14-2011 07:40 PM

3-0.

Hilariously bad by Kaberle. Thomas not alert.

piqued 05-14-2011 07:45 PM

What a play by Seguin. 3-1.

vofty 05-14-2011 09:52 PM

Tampa seals it with the EN goal from Gange

piqued 05-14-2011 09:52 PM

After watching that game all I can think of is how badly either team is going to get destroyed by whoever comes out of the West.

piqued 05-15-2011 07:07 PM

It's kind of ridiculous how these games have been starting at 5 local time just for the convenience of the East Coast TV audience.

piqued 05-15-2011 07:31 PM

Kesler trying to give himself whiplash with that exaggerated reaction.

piqued 05-15-2011 07:38 PM

Eager takes a stupid penalty, what else is new.

piqued 05-15-2011 07:48 PM

Luongo just passes it right to Thornton who has an empty net... OK.

Maybe we can have a revival of the Schneider controversy for this series.

piqued 05-15-2011 08:45 PM

Linesman incorrectly denies Heatley who would've been in alone.

piqued 05-15-2011 09:14 PM

San Jose can hardly make any passes or plays at this point. It's all just chipping pucks down the ice and battling for real estate.
