I've been looking at this same stick. Also was looking at the U+08. From what I've read it sounds like the U+10 is lighter but idk any other differences. Just from messing around with the U+08 in the store it seemed a bit heavy but rock solid. Seems like it'd be durable. So maybe the same would hold true for the U+10?

Anyone who's used it got an insight on how well it shoots/passes, durability (especially of the blade), etc. I'm also interested to see what people have to say about this stick and the stick line for that matter.

Hey "Jimmy Carter" I went out to pick up the CCM U+10 last night since I have a game tonight. According to the CCM specs the stick is 510grams but it feels lighter to me especially after I cut it down. I was shooting around in my basement last night and so far I like the feel of the ball on the blade & whip of the shaft.

The only "complaint" I have is since I'm not a big fan of the "grip" texture I wish the CCM U+10 was manufactured without it but the guy at my LHS said they only make this stick with the "grip".

Used the CCM+10 last night... what a great stick! Balance, feel and blade are great... hit the post & crossbar though.

The U+10 is only grip

Hey Aireaye,
yup I know I wish they made the U+10 in a non-grip but that's ok, it's a sacrifice I've made ~ LOL

Also was there a topic about some acrylic spray to apply to composite sticks on this board? I've done a few searches and can't find it for the life of me.

Thanks for the insight! Sounds like a stick I'd like, I'm not a huge stickler of having to have a really light stick. Not a fan of getting grip sticks as well but it really doesn't bother me enough to not get a stick because it's a grip one. Was a big fan of CCM for a while but haven't used their newer stuff so maybe I'll have to pick up one of these :yo:

And what does that have to do with this thread?

*bump*

Saw a CCM U+ 10 stick on clearance at Sport Chek, anyone else have more good/bad experiences with them?

They are great if you cannot afford a top end stick. To be honest, I was messing around with a couple at a store, and actually had a better shot with the U+10, over the Bauer One80. But, in all honesty, being cheaper than the one80, you may aswell buy the U10. The One80 was the best mid priced stick IMO for the longest time, but I think at that $99-130 range the scales have tipped to this..

1- T90
2- U+10
3- One80

No Idea on the durability of the stick, although. The T90, from my experience, is still the best bang for the buck.
