2011-2012 Schedule

Gets released tomorrow.

Ralph just tweeted:

Quote:

Schedule out tomorrow. Opening night oct 7 vs chi. Bruins in Dallas New Years Eve. Ring in the revenge!
Looks like we start at home this year.

k1279 06-22-2011 06:47 PM

Home and home with Chicago to start.

MB94 06-22-2011 06:51 PM

Really hope Stars come to Montreal this year, I would love to see the Stars play live again as I've only seen them twice in person. 2001 and 2009

piqued 06-22-2011 07:10 PM

That's a considerably more difficult start than this past season's.

KiedisA 06-22-2011 09:39 PM

Lovin that "revenge" part from Ralph.. He's absolutely right!!
That night we better be fighting(EDIT:not just with our fists), no matter how the season so far has gone..

Also hoping for another lenghty home-stand in March-April(and big bank account for yours truly).. would be great to visit Dallas again..

Stars99Lobo37 06-23-2011 10:34 AM

Please don't let this season's NYE's game be as bad as last season's.

Do like the start with Chicago though.

Really happy they're doing a NYC swing with the Rangers, Islanders, and Devils. I plan on being at all 3 of those games.

Ampersand 06-23-2011 01:42 PM

Looks like im going to WPG this season

piqued 06-23-2011 01:46 PM

I count 14 back-to-backs.

MetalGodAOD* 06-23-2011 01:46 PM

14 back to backs.. ugh.

Longest homestand is 4 games. Might not be a bad thing given how last year's 6 games went.

Longest road swing is 5 going from LA to NYC. Weird scheduling.

Glad we have a decent amount of the division in Oct, good to get that out of the way early.

MB94 06-23-2011 01:47 PM

Stars are playing in Montreal this year!:yo::yo:

Going to be my third time i'll see the Stars play live since I became a fan in 2000-2001 season. Can't wait

Get ready for some Ribeiro magic!

CRSeven 06-23-2011 02:48 PM

I think I should be able to make it to at least one of the games in San Jose.

allanm1129 06-23-2011 05:28 PM

Just got a chance to glance over the schedule, looking forward to making a few more Stars game this season!

KiedisA 06-23-2011 06:18 PM

December looks like the hardest month when counting the travelling etc.. This weekend with the fixtures/draft means that the season is getting nearer and nearer!! Exciting!!

Modo 06-23-2011 06:26 PM

Damn, no trip to Toronto this year.

Maybe I'll make a trip to Montreal for that one, lol

Thanks! I appreciate the welcome. I have been lurking on these boards for a few days now, attempting to take it all in. This has to be the best hockey forum I have ever seen, I am amazed at the unlimited number of conversations with knowledgeable fans. I am a
big Stars fan, so I look forward to chiming in from time to time on this board!

Here's to a great offseason...

It's F1's responsibility to collapse to the house on the fly.

Training Camp is pretty cool, if you can get a weekend to sneak over to PEI. Best time of the year out there, and if you book your seats in the next month or so you will get them front and center in the little Barn they play in. With how small it is, t's impossible not to bump into some of the players and management in Ctown.

Grats man, living in Orlando until last year, and now in NYC, I know the feeling. Luckily I've been able to see them 3 times now (game in Tampa in 08, preseason game against Florida in 09, last year opener against the devils). Looking forward to seeing them 3x this year when they make the NYC swing.
