Prospect Camp - Scrimmage

was anyone at this game? i was reading tweets from dave isaac. schenn got 3Gs 1A and he said he looked like a man amongst boys. rinaldo was apparently crushing everyone.

(daveisaac)
Three Stars: Schenn, Testwuide and Parks
6-3 Final for Team White.
Rinaldo lost his stick and CREAMED Hostetter.

Put this in the other thread, thought I might as well post here.

And yes, Schenn was a man amongst boys. Looked awesome.

I think it's safe to say that Schenn is a lock for the Flyers opening night roster ...

... barring a Stamkos trade or some crazy ****.

It'll be shocking if he doesn't make it with this competition. The more interesting one will be Couturier.

No prob

I can see Testwuide, trying to make a name for himself, again this year.

I really hope they give Couturier a year or two. No need to rush this kid into what, a 3rd line role?

I agree. Give him another year dominating in juniors and let him work on gaining some more strength. Hopefully he can come into camp next year 200+ lbs and be more physically ready to compete in the NHL

He was fantastic today, showed some great hands and had a very strong all around game

It's encouraging watching Rinaldo just float around destroying guys that potentially could be on the opening night roster....gotta love it.

What a clown

He played in 2 playoff games last year, they know exactly what type of player the kid is. Like I said, not really encouraging when you see our future #1 center get blasted in prospect camp

Rinaldo is actually the most friendly, I'll post a pic that I also put in the Trial on the Isle thread (girlfriend tying Rinaldo's shirt), super nice guy.

Also, nice videos! Schenn is crazy.

:naughty:

ONTHEFLYGUY 07-11-2011 11:56 AM

That's his game, 4th line destroyer! Why shouldn't he play his game

If I get future free tickets when he makes it to the big club... he can be my guest. :)

BrindamoursNose 07-11-2011 12:07 PM

Rinaldo left his feet on Couturier. That I don't like.

Well, he's a known d-bag... What do you expect?

Spongolium* 07-11-2011 12:19 PM

What? So rinaldo isn't meant to play hard to try and make opening night? Oh right. Sean needs to keep his head up if he wants to make the NHL.

Right...play hard--but taking an obvious cheap (and illegal) shot against a touted prospect seems unlikely to help him making the opening roster on at least two levels.
