Smeddy 07-16-2011 01:19 PM

Should be Prince.

CanadianHockey 07-16-2011 01:24 PM

Went JOB.

You can tell how much the prospect pool has filled out just by seeing Wiercioch drop from #4 to #12 over the course of a year.

EastCoastSensFan 07-16-2011 01:32 PM

I think its time to add Caporusso

SENSational Sens Fan 07-16-2011 02:14 PM

Prince. Add Culek.

hockeyalltheway 07-16-2011 02:19 PM

Went with Borowiecki.

Bobby Blowhard 07-16-2011 02:43 PM

I havn't voted since 5 or so, just tuned back in now and was shocked to see the calibre up at #14. It appears as if even our 20th ranked prospect will have good NHL potential.

Voted Stone

Manny* 07-16-2011 03:47 PM

Went with Petersson based on potential.

I don't see anybody else on the list that could one day play on a top line.

Add Claesson.

ReginKarlssonLehner 07-16-2011 03:53 PM

Petersson AINEC.

What this guy did alone in the SEL and WJC should put him atop the ones left.

SensAreReligion 07-16-2011 05:58 PM

Prince!

Lexicon Devil 07-16-2011 06:09 PM

:shakehead at Condra and Greening just inserted randomly based on like ten votes or so

source 07-16-2011 06:39 PM

Stone for sure.

Petersson couldn't even crack his SEL teams top 6.

Went with Prince.

This post lowers your pedigree in terms of prospect knowledge.

If you ask any Swedish fans they will tell you that the coach is one stubborn **** and that he wants to keep the top 2 lines stable and would never alter them especially because they are more experienced and have proven chemistry and does not want to change that whatsoever no matter what happens.

Notice why Petersson came here for training? Cause HV71 did a horrific job treating his back injuries and giving him any opportunity to excel.

Maybe, I'm not expert on his situation with HV like you seem to be. He wasted two years in HV's bottom 6 when he could have been in the CHL or even in Bingo playing big minutes in top 6 role. He probably would be much higher on this list than he is now.

I agree but outside of the SEL season he has marveled and excelled everywhere else in higher competition than Prince.

Don't know why Prince is rated ahead of him here. I'd even ponder on Hoffman ahead of Prince.

I'd say either take Butler, Condra and Greening out (even though they are all technically prospects, most people here don't think they should be), or re-do the votes for them at the end of the polling and slot them in then.

There's no way they should be that high.

This.

Maybe my advice should have been taken seriously. Greening and Condra should have been added at the 12th poll, it was only a minority (or should have been) that would have put those 2 in the top-11. Guys like Da Costa, Petersson and Wiercioch just have a lot more potential. Maybe Greening and Condra have 1-way contracts but that doesn't garantee them to be better players down the road

Prospects should be evaluated on the possible impact they could have on the team or what we think it could be at this point in time.

The rest of the rankings after 9 are now screwed IMO.

Anyway, still voting for Andre Petersson

Lehner 07-16-2011 10:55 PM

Greening had 43 Votes, took 22(half) to get him to #10, thats why hes prospect #10.

Condra had 23 Votes, took 12(half) to get him to #11, thats why hes prospect #11.

Rumcajs 07-16-2011 11:28 PM

Borowiecki!

SensAreReligion 07-17-2011 12:40 AM

i personally do not think condra, greening and butler should be considered "prospect" they have already proven themselves as a pro..

CZechSenator 07-17-2011 01:30 AM

Poor Wiercioch. He fell from #3 to #12 in one year

He should be ahead of Greening and Condra at least.

Afro Thunder* 07-17-2011 11:06 AM

Should be Petersson.

Prince is basically a shiny new toy and that's why people are voting for him.

Petersson has a much higher upside, proved it in a big stage like the WJC, and is closer to the NHL than Prince.

The question marks for Petersson is the same as Prince, it's their injuries.

Dionysus 07-17-2011 12:23 PM

Boro again.
