HFDS (Time for a summit)

Gentlemen,
I feel that it has been too long since we had one of our summits. It is time to rekindle the tradition. Anyone want to get together before September sometime? Maybe a Friday happy hour? New members/recruits (this means you Singin') are always welcome. Old members that have moved are always asked to make an appearance (ahem...Davisian).

Yea.. you guys never seem to get together past the 1st week of April, why is that??

Fletch 08-04-2004 02:30 PM

You know what Flyer26...

That actually brought out a chuckle in me. At least it well-though-out.

I'd like to say we're all home watching Flyers playoff hockey...but what the hell would we do after that? I mean, there'd still be 2 whole weeks of April left. :yo:

A little late for that one.

The Flyers have played into May (5th & 22nd) the last two years.

And to think Hitchcock was there for the taking ....

Must be a lot of ice on that beer, to keep it cold!

I know, now you can start your "1975" chants... back when Klingsor was a strapping young lad.

Are you implying that the beer has a "Licence to Chill"?

I feel left out.

I would also suggest avoiding anywhere near the Garden for the duration.

JOKE - Something said or done to evoke laughter or amusement, especially an amusing story with a punch line.
A mischievous trick; a prank.
An amusing or ludicrous incident or situation.
Informal.
Something not to be taken seriously; a triviality

that's all it is, man. That's all it is.

Fletch 08-04-2004 04:58 PM

Should be a Brooklyn Summit...

OK, that's stretching it. Unfortunately one of my favorite watering holes, Sparky's Ale House, is closing this Friday. Brookyln's going trendy. A moment of silence please....

Evil Sather 08-04-2004 04:59 PM

Beer? Where?
