Reminder bump...and an FYI that we're looking into transportation options.

Would be interested if a bus is going there, though I am planning to go to the game the prior Sunday. Odd that we have 2 games in Long Island within 6 days.

Awesome idea

A lot of fun the last time we had a bunch of people go there with a tailgate

TheTripleDeke 08-04-2011 01:10 PM

Hmm...a very short drive over from Deer Park, I may have to have a talk with the fiance on this one.

We're looking at the possibility of setting up a huge tailgate if possible.

This is the first time we're doing something like this. I'm looking for at least half the cost of the ticket(s) by August 26th with the 2nd payment due down the road.

Oh, for some reason I thought the board did something like this to the Island previously, I more than likely am mistaken.

Thank you so much for the info. I got to run it by fiance (devils fan in training) and my sis (Isle fan) but if they both say yes, I will hopefully be purchasing 3.

Yeah over on NJDevs a lot of people seem interested, and we haven't even really announced anything on the team's FB page that has 195,000 people following it, so I see the 50 spots filling up quickly

Slowpeon 08-04-2011 01:52 PM

Any idea on what section or row?

Lower portion of the 300's (301, 340, 325 or 326)...not sure which section exactly.

I see two games or at least two Devils/Islanders games on the Island a year, but now that I'm moving to Florida I won't be. I will be seeing the game the friday after thanksgiving on the Island, and the one the next afternoon against the Islanders at home. I'll be seeing every game I can when I visit thanksgiving, christmas, and mlk and or presidents day weekends. Also all games at Tampa Bay, and at Florida. Already made my trip to Dallas to visit my buddy who now lives out there, and I made it to coincide with the Devils in town on the 29th of October. So we're heading to that game. Never seen any games in Dallas, or at Bank Atlantic in Fort Lauderdale so I'm excited for that.

Both are really nice arenas. Enjoy them.

I went an saw a Panthers game a couple of years ago. It's a nice arena. My friends and I walked in with shorts and golf shirts on (we were on a golf vacation) and when we get to our seats, everyone nearby us had winter coats, mittens, and toques on. It was weird. It wasn't even cold. It still makes me laugh to think about it.

Definitely was not aware LV-426 was on Long Island. Then again, it makes sense. They've infested with Facehuggers (Guidos).

Highly recommend you invest in a flame thrower, possibly a Power Loader.
