Our best game last year?

I miss hockey and feel like watching some old exiting game from last season, which game should I watch?

Coldplay 08-13-2011 12:44 PM

Nov 13, Habs 7, Canes 2.

Only downer is Markov's injury. Awesome game, though.

Canadiens vs Wild - 03/20/2011
Complete destruction of the opposition and PK's hat trick.

malcb33 08-13-2011 12:48 PM

have you got the season on PVR or is there somewhere online that has all the games?

Came here to post that - definitely the most fun game to watch last season for me.

That cause of PK but the Ottawa game was hilarious too.

Even though we lose the 8-6 Boston game. Heartbreaker and we weren't great defensively but offensively we still put 6 behind Thomas.

That game was pretty boring. Yeah it was nice to see a bunch of goals but there isn't much excitement once it's 4-0.

The two wins against Vancouver were much more exciting. Great goaltending, great team effort. Just an overall good feeling about beating the best team in the league. The Chicago game was also real exciting.

I forgot about the Chicago game. Damn. You're right. Changing my answer to that!

Bill McNeal 08-13-2011 01:12 PM

Was gonna say the Chicago game and the comeback against the Bruins (Pacioretty in OT).

The Detroit game was pretty good even though we lost. Same with the Anaheim game.

Habs 4 Life 08-13-2011 01:17 PM

Carolina, Wild, Hawks

The Kremelin Wall* 08-13-2011 01:19 PM

The ones we won.

76ftw 08-13-2011 01:27 PM

Boston where we won 3-2 (Patches gave the shove to Chara) is probably the number one.

When we played the Ducks too, even if we lost, we still scored 2 in the last 2 minutes.

Kenny Powders 08-13-2011 01:32 PM

Where can yo uwatch the old games?

Bob Cole 08-13-2011 01:45 PM

Chicago game was probably the game of the year. Goal tending clinic by both Price and Crawford.

Other than that Carolina game was sick too with Carey's glove save. The Florida game where Wiz scored in OT was also very exciting.

I have to say though seeing your teams young superstar D dangle his way to a hat trick was absolutely phenomenal. Haters will never be silenced but you've gotta admit that was epic on so many levels.

The game itself you're right wasn't great after 4-0 but that Subban goal... wow. We're not worthy!!!

This. I also enjoyed the Detroit game and the Chicago game

bcv 08-13-2011 02:38 PM

Definately the Chicago one. That was insane

Habs 1909 08-13-2011 03:06 PM

MTL-Vancouver definitely.

HM despite giving up the 4 goal lead:

I just hate remembering that game because it was the precursor to the worst series of games ever.

Unfortunately, it was the game Chara almost killed Paccioretty.. It was a beauty to watch before that famous hit.. we were quite dominating the Bruins and the crowd was very loud, proud and pumped for the playoffs.. Unfortunately, Chara found a disgusting way to stop this and we know the rest of the story.. The moral, do anything possible to win, even if its not pretty..

thewall 08-13-2011 03:23 PM

How about the game vs the Bruins in December.. Cammalleri got two goals and undressed Timmy on a Penalty Shot. Subband destroyed the little ***** Marchand with a beauty of a hit. Habs won 4-3 with the Bruins scoring 2 lates ones to make it look close...

This one was my favorite, although I don't think we played particularly well. Always nice to steal a win away from the Bruins.

Of course had Pacioretty not given Chara that little push he probably wouldn't have missed the rest of the season so...

SB164 08-13-2011 05:24 PM

In the rematch of the 8-6 loss, I thought the Habs were utterly dominating the Bruins in Montreal, that is, until the Chara hit on MaxPac :(
