Altshussers likely OHL destination

Altshusser had a good Hlinka tournament. He was in net for the gold winning game.He wants to be the #1 goalie(his draft year)and the Bulls cannot offer that guaranty(it is Subbans to lose)

If he goes the OHL route(his agents preference)what contending team can offer the Altshusser the #1 job status to lose?

And from a Bulls perspective what is the return for a kid with no OHL experience but a history of international success and a wealth of impressive scouting reports?

His mostly likely destination is Nepean. It looks like hes staying there.

His most likely destination in the OHL? Have to be Oshawa or Peterborough. Only teams that come to mind that have goaltending issues without a solid answer. One may get Morrison, the other Altshuller. Scott Stajcer could aslo be in the mix, im not sure hell go pro next year, as he appears to be 6th on the depth chart for the Rangers.

As for where he ends up if he goes to the O I have no idea but if he is looking for a starter's role from day 1 then I doubt he ends up on a contender.

As a Windsor fan I would love to see him here but they would need to move Campbell before hand and likely Cullen at some point as well. As an example though a team in a similar situation as Windsor, a year or two out from being a contender but not likely to be a bottom of the pack team either. A solid young group building towards the future.

Without considering anyone else's goaltending situation teams like Peterborough, London, Soo, Sudbury, Brampton, Windsor are all in a position to allow him that year to develop in the league before being relied upon to take them all the way as the starter. Oshawa is a place that it all depends if they make a run this year or next.

I am sure there are some serious bids going to Belleville but there is likely only a couple of teams that have the right mix of assets as well as being a destination he would report to. Will be interesting to see where he ends up.

I hope Mr Altshusser gets the No.1 starters job handed to him because I can 100% guarantee that this will be the last time this will ever happen to him.
Personally I like a goalie who's cocky enough that they enjoy the internal competition for the job.

I don't know Ward, it's happened several times in Toronto, sometimes for better and many times for worse. :scared:

I'm also curious to see where this kid lands, hopefully in the OHL so I may be able to catch a few games. I would imagine this gets sorted out next week sometime since training camps start soon?

Nothing new on this kid? I guess he's staying in Nepean?
