Funny I didn't feel **** and other people from Montreal apparently did. Must have been the smallest earthquake ever

Turtleneck Plek 08-23-2011 01:24 PM

I'm just outside of Montreal on the North Shore and didn't feel anything.

triplecitizen 08-23-2011 01:26 PM

Felt in in Hamilton Ontario. I'm on the 14th floor of an office building and the building swayed, kind of scary but cool as well.

Like anything would ever happen in Cobourg.

neofury* 08-23-2011 01:36 PM

Okay to the person who said their co-worker "felt it" did said co-worker know about the earthquake in Carolina prior to mentioning anything? Sounds like a bit of paranoia imo. You were working at the same place and only they felt it?

I know it's a fairly typical HF response but it made me chuckle.

Napping on 6th-floor couch on the West Island. Woke up to be momentarily confused by picture on the wall swaying a little bit for a bout 15 seconds. Guess I felt it.

Heh, couldn't help myself. Enjoy Sherbrooke, it's not all that lively either but it's gonna feel like New York after living in Cobourg.
