I think this is Rinaldos general area to be placed. He is the most likely from this group to be an NHLer and his hits are great. I really wish he'd grow up. If he did I'd actually like him.

Placek. Never saw him play, but the more I read about him the more I like him. I would have voted for him a few spots earlier if I was better informed. :(

I read that meltzer article as well haha...I haven't seen him play yet, but if meltzer likes him that's good news.

I'm not going to argue with anyones voting because of the "potential" Placek has, but I find it kind of funny that a guy who played an handful of games in highschool outranks a guy who played NHL hockey last year.

You answered your own statement  this SHOULD be about potential. If it were about NHL games played, then our impromptu Top 20 would look terrible with Kalinski, Holmstrom, Rinaldo, Wellwood, and Sestito at the top. Unfortunately this has become some sort of hybrid abomination where some picks it becomes potential and some it is NHL readiness.

From the report on Suellentrop from In Lou We Trust http://www.inlouwetrust.com/2011/6/9...ospect-profile it seems like he could really turn into a good defensive defenseman, but looking at his CHL stats it seems like he has very little offensive ability. He was only 17 last season, so maybe he will put up more points this coming season. Bill, have you seen this guy play? What do you think of him?

I voted for Kalinski.

edit- Actually I might have been to hard on Suellentrop, though he was sixth in scoring amongst defensemen on the Oshawa Generals (8 D played at least 49 games), he was younger than the 5 who scored more than him, with the one closest in age being number 5 in points was and is almost exactly a year older. Furthermore, the top four were all older than number 5.
