Enjoy these next few seasons, he's not gonna be around forever :(.

Nose of Sutter 09-01-2011 12:49 PM

Good news, I will probably cry when he calls it quits.

Gentle Ben Kenobi 09-01-2011 12:50 PM

Yes!!!!!!!

TonySCV 09-01-2011 12:50 PM

Bob has his senior moments, but I can't imagine Kings games without him. Great news.

Me too.

It'll be extremely weird when Bob retires. Sucks for the guy who has to replace him.

ibleedkings 09-01-2011 12:53 PM

Good news! Hopefully he can keep it going like Vin has.

kingsholygrail 09-01-2011 12:58 PM

Do they ever let tv guys have a day with the cup? If anyone deserves it, it'd be him. I can't imagine the Kings without him.

Cook24 09-01-2011 01:10 PM

Yay more Bob! I hope though, that when he does retire, Nick Nickson takes his spot.

Gentle Ben Kenobi 09-01-2011 01:14 PM

Nick's not exactly young at this point either. It will be a sad day when these guys are not around, for sure.

The most exciting playoff series this franchise ever played...and it was Bob (with some help from Wayne) who made it that way...Congrats Bob! Let's do this again this year!

Like everyone else I grew up with and love Bob but his senior moments are starting to become too numerous. I have serious doubts that he'll be calling a good game in two years. I'd rather he retires while still near the top so that we don't have fans turning on him as he declines. Oh well, glad to still have him around, just worried.

This. I might not cry when he leaves, but if he leaves without a cup, it could make me tear up. Talk about paying your dues.

Thanks for posting that Face Wash. Wish there had been one call of Great save Hrudey.

I can remember sweating bullets watching that last 30 seconds or so. It sure felt like harder pressure than it really was.

Telos 09-01-2011 03:43 PM

I don't care if he get Alzheimer's and spouts random crap the whole game. I want him at that mic, each and every time.

CNS 09-01-2011 03:59 PM

I love Bob Miller and I don't care if he messes up every single name ever. I love him.

I too will cry when he retires.
