I have to say that schuamacher looked pretty darn good in the rookie games against phoenix.

Dowd. Don't forget about Dowd, the kid can play.

I decided to bump this thread from last year, since we are doing our top 20 again right now. Michael Schumacher was the 20th prospect voted in.

Interesting to look back and see what we voted and how it panned out. Jordan Nolan didn't even make the list (and I could be wrong, but I don't recall anyone wanting him added either in any of the other threads), while King was 19th.

Interesting indeed.

Bye bye to Holloway and Moller.

And if anyone is voting in Hickey as a top10 prospect of ours... WHY?

Stop giving him so much credit for being a 4th overall pick. He's shown pretty much nothing to warrant that selection, and it looks like DL simply messed up on that one.

Just because he was drafted too high doesn't mean he still isn't a quality defender. Lombardi couldn't move down and wanted a puck moving defenseman, he didn't know he was going to be at the drafting table next year looking at Doughty. There was wasted value, but the logic of the pick wasn't unsound. Hickey hasn't done much to prove he is a horrible non-NHL worthy defenseman either; he still a good prospect, is only 23 years old, and is likely the best offensive defenseman not on the Kings roster at the moment, making him arguably our best puck moving prospect. Doesn't make sense not to include him amongst our best prospects.

On a side note, it is good to see that Andreoff will pass Weal this time around. That was ridiculous last year.

I wanted Nolan added fairly early.

And he got one vote in the last poll. But, obviously he and King were placed too low.
