Lowest Profile Helmets

OK so I'll admit it I am vein as hell when it comes to my equipment. With that I am trying to find a high end helmet that has a profile that is as low as my Easton S9. Apparently the CCM V10 is supposed to be low profile, but it is not close to the
S9. I feel like I have tried on just about everything out there. I like the Z shock but apparently birdcages don't work well on it. Any ideas?

Oh yeah and no need to come into the thread and say something along the lines of who cares how it looks, b/c I obviously do.

My S9 is starting to come apart a bit and while it is fine for now I will probably need to make a change soon.

I'd get the S19 and then bend the cage to fit.

Why not move up to the S13, it's an S9 with an EPP liner

Rock the old Bauer 4500 (or whatever they're calling it nowadays).

Edit: It's still the 4500. May not meet your description of "high end" but it's still one of the most popular buckets in the NHL today. Definitely a low profile look.

i have the 4500 and its not top end in price but i think its very top end in protection and looks i did have someone tell me mine was lower than usual but it was only once i love mine

Yeah, there's no question the 4500 is one of the most popular helmets in the world, even today. It was once THE helmet amongst pros and is still worn by a great many currently. It just looks like it's "less" of a helmet to the casual observer who sees the 9500 and 9800 and 7500 and all these other fancy models that are more expensive. The 4500 was more popular among pros than any of those models has ever been and is still more popular than some. It's just not as "fancy". But, like the OP requested, it's definitely "low profile" and will definitely get the job done.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I can't believe I did not think of the S13, it is pretty much exactly what I am looking for. I will look at the 4500 as well. Thanks guys!

What's your motivation for getting a "high end" helmet? What features do you want that the S9 doesn't have?

As I said in the orginal post the S9 is starting to come apart and while I can get some more time out of it I thought I would start looking around.

The reason why I want to go up a step is really comfort and tool free adjustments. I don't need a $150 helmet, but just thinking of bumping up to the $80-$100 range.

4500 for real. Sickest bucket there is

Personally I think the 4k, V08, S9, 5100 are all kind of the same thing with different widths. I'd go with one of those whichever fits.

The only think I dislike about my 4k is it looks cheesy compared to the nicer helmets with the fake vents.
