He was in Italy last season with Bolzano HC

Le Tricolore 10-05-2011 09:57 AM

Sounds about right. Maybe someday, but not now.

WeThreeKings 10-05-2011 10:08 AM

Good. Did not want with big club.

24stanleycups* 10-05-2011 10:10 AM

thank ****.

Habs 4 Life 10-05-2011 10:11 AM

Doesn't belong on the top 3 lines, he could use another year in Hamilton and be a 1st call up if needed

Gros Bonhomme 10-05-2011 10:11 AM

Schultz as well.

Bullsmith 10-05-2011 10:13 AM

After a terrible start to camp, I actually thought Palushaj finished strong. Not saying he should've made the team, but it's right that he's basically the last body down to Hamilton, and will quite likely be the first called up, depending on what slot needs to be filled.

Hopefully this means Eller, if not White, is close to making a return.

Stjonnypopo 10-05-2011 10:14 AM

That's good.

Now work your ass off in Hamilton and we'll talk again when you're stronger on the puck.

This leaves us with Engqvist as our 4th line center for sure then right? I hope so, I think he needs to play a few games and he'll gel in perfectly.

******* WTF pineapple

Realize I'm doing all this at work. Risking my arse for you buddy.

Gary320 10-05-2011 10:39 AM

This guy gets destroyed too easily with the puck in pre season games, can only imagine in 82 regular season games.

He's good to have, but please get stronger on the puck.

We will probably see him in December though..

HomaridII 10-05-2011 10:42 AM

FYI Woywitka is on waivers (MA Godin on twitter)

Blunden to HAM official

kassian 10-05-2011 11:17 AM

Palushaj was one of the biggest disappointments in the camp.

hototogisu 10-05-2011 12:30 PM

Andreas Engqvist sent to Hamilton

Not surprised. Although I thought he'd stick around until Eller/White returned to the lineup.

Vanek20 10-05-2011 12:32 PM

That came from nowhere...wasnt expecting that.

Natedawg 10-05-2011 12:33 PM

Eller has to be VERY VERY close to returning. Otherwise I am sure they would carry that extra forward.

68 10-05-2011 12:37 PM

Does anyone know what's the maximum roster size?

Ross MacLochness 10-05-2011 12:40 PM

Needs to add some upper body strength.

But will be a good 4th line center in the NHL one day.

Aurel Joliat 10-05-2011 12:41 PM

23 players. Normally 14 forwards, 7 D and 2 goalies

Thanks. We're at 24 right now.
That means one of Diaz or Yemelin will have to be sent down or Weber traded.

Gainey#1* 10-05-2011 12:43 PM

Now send Diaz down and we are in business.

All times are GMT -5. The time now is 06:17 AM.
