If you look back at Clarke's trades, you will see he is dealing away players for picks.....b/c their is a glut at that position (Weinrich, Couinard, etc.)....then almost immeadiately afterwards, there are key injuries. Now that he has traded away his depth.....he trades for more depth.....Its like an unending cycle, and the only KEY for it is patience
I'm not knocking this trade, or some of his other moves he has made this year, but if he had shown a little bit more patience.....then the FLyers would be sitting with a bit more picks/prospects.
So basically, Clarke should have kept better 10th-12th defensemen around?
