And to think this team could've kept Schneider, who I wanted, for less money and more consistency (and I'm not trying to compare what Schneider's done since leaving the Rangers, but what he did as a Ranger - a decent second liner who should've complemented Leetch on the PP, but never consistently did - great coaching). Damn this organization frustrates me. It is sooo clueless.
Well said Fletch, I missed schneider also, that first year was pretty bad and I think that was the year that Matt pretty much showed up Sather (and wasn't there some rumors at some point that Slats was trying to get him back?)

And I'll never forget when he lost his temper, man that guy can throw em when he's pissed.

Anyway, I'm happy they got a second rounder and a prospect so, goodbye Vladdy. Have a shot of Stoly for me!!!
There's a reason I couldn't remember(for whatever reason) but that was one reason I did at points really really like him, when it came down to the nitty gritty and if he got really pissed off he would throw punches and man could that guy throw if he had to, seems to me I remember him taking out a few oppents.... can anyone back me up with some names???
